What?
Hunter sniggered.
“Don’t be cruel, Hunt. You, Blake, and Jacob were tagged on Instagram by some local girls,” Addison said, leaning across the back of the sofa and twisting her head to smile at him.
Oh.
Jesus, he wasn’t sure what he’d expected them to say, but it had something to do with Lily, and all he felt was relief that it wasn’t.
So, the news anchor girls had gone social with their night with the Dufort boys. Damn them.
“Harmless fun,” Aidan said, crossing his arms. “Has it gone viral?”
“Yes.” Daniel shot him a look. “Fortunately, without my photo.”
“I’m on maternity leave,” Olivia said, pointing to the baby. Liv was the Dufort PR manager who dealt with all the media. “But I checked, and it was mainly Blake and Jacob.”
“Present,” Blake said as he walked in. “What have I done?”
“Did you take those two girls home last night?” Logan asked as Emma sat down in his lap.
Jacob walked up behind him and the smirk on his face said yes. Then the two of them turned to stare at one another and their smirks turned to grins.
“That’s a yes,” Aidan laughed.
His mom and dad arrived and wandered across the room, sitting down on one of the sofas.
“For, you know, a nightcap,” Jacob said, eyeing his aunt and uncle.
“I have two boys, Jacob. Don’t bother.” His mother laughed.
“Hey, I never brought a girl home,” Aidan said, and it was true. He’d taken them to hotels instead.
“Make sure you don’t this weekend, either,” Andrew said. “This is your brother’s wedding. Let’s respect that.”
Aidan raised his brows. “Ex-fucking-scuse me.”
“Aides,” Logan growled.
“When have I ever created a sex scandal?” he snapped. “I’m not Tom Brady, sure, but every single Dufort in this room hits the columns at least once a month, with some journo second guessing our romantic lives.”
“Not this weekend,” Andrew said firmly.
Jesus Christ.
“I left with Logan and Emma. Ask them.”
“He did,” Emma said.
“I can confirm. The media ch—girls came home with us,” Blake said.
Aidan did a one-eighty to triple-check if Lily was in the room.
No.
Thank fuck.
He didn’t want her hearing this family bullshit. And it was bullshit.
