He wasn’t going to sit back and let him throw out bullshit comments like that, whether they were in private or company. Andrew should know by now Aidan wouldn’t put up with it.
Logan was a powerful businessman, but Aidan had always been the one to speak his mind. Which meant he and his father had clashed over the years on different topics.
But he’d never tried to dictate his life like this.
Aidan would get to the bottom of it, but right now, he had a date between Lily’s legs.
And her pretty blushing smile.
When she opened the door to her penthouse, that was not what greeted him.
CHAPTER ELEVEN
Lily leaped up whenshe heard the knock. She pulled the door open and when she saw it was Aidan, she almost relaxed.
Almost.
“H—”
“Thank, God,” she said, grabbing his T-shirt and pulling him inside the room. When she released it and was about to ask if he had the Arnica cream, something caught her eye. “Is that a Prada T-shirt?”
She knew the answer as the logo was clear as day on the hem.
Aidan was a tall man, so he stood towering over her, looking like he was about to kiss her, when he frowned and glanced down at his top.
“Yes. Why? What’s wrong with it?”
Nothing was wrong with it.
The gray cotton knit top hugged his muscular frame like a glove. It should be illegal. Its short sleeves were slightly bunched, and Lily was sure more than one girl on the island would have enjoyed the sight today.
But it wasn’t that.
She shouldn’t have said anything. It just seemed like an insane amount of money to spend on a T-shirt. She could understand buying a special dress from a luxury designer or even a handbag if they could afford it, but a T-shirt?
That’s like buying designer socks.
