Page 48 of Your Love is Enough

Stacey stared out the window as she sat pressed up against Tristan in his truck, her head resting on his shoulder. Every nerve ending in her body was at attention and focused on his arm wrapped around her shoulder. They haven’t been able to separate far from each other all morning. And what an amazing morning it was.

Waking up against his chest with his arm wrapped around her, gave her a calm and peaceful feeling that filled every pore, making her body tingle with pleasure. When she remembered she told him she loved him, warmth spread through her, making her adjust herself and wiggle closer to him, which caused him to moan, and parts of him woke up and pressed into her lower back.

The flame that had a hard time going out last night was reignited. She kissed his chest as she rolled on top of him, sliding his hardness inside her.

His eyes opened and popped wide, until his body took over what she had started.

The intenseness of his gaze when they made love after she woke him up, still made her shiver. She blinked, trying hard to remember she was in the cab of his truck but stretched and kissed him lightly on his neck.

“Mmm. What’s that for?” Tristan glanced down quickly, then squeezed his arm tighter around her shoulder, pulling her closer to his side.

“Just remembering the look you gave me when you woke up this morning.”

“Correction. When you woke me up.” His smile filled his face. “And yeah. That was an amazing way to wake up.” He moved his arm and grabbed her hand that was lying on his thigh, placing it over the hard bulge in his lap.

Wow!

He winked. “It’s your touch, gorgeous.” His voice was throaty.

Her breath stopped. She swallowed the lump in her throat. Her hand started rubbing over the bulge. Oh, that was a bad idea. There was a tingling between her legs.

Tristan sucked in his bottom lip and suddenly jerked the wheel of the truck, turning off the road onto an unkept dirt path.

Stacey sat up tall. What was he doing?

They made a sharp turn, and all around them was nothing but trees. He slammed the truck in park, undid their seat belts, and had Stacey in his arms before she could even register that they had stopped.

“It’s gonna be a long day. And I want you. Now.”

His hand went behind her neck, and his lips clamped onto hers.

She grabbed his shirt, pulling him even closer.

Her breathing was ragged. His was rough. They kissed and felt and pulled off shirts. Wiggled with difficulty out of jeans.

She couldn’t get enough. They were in a truck on the side of a road. Trees all around them. Nothing but privacy. This was crazy. Who cares? Her body was so hot she thought it would combust with desire. She needed him like fire needed oxygen. She wanted him more than anything she has ever wanted before.

“Tristan?” It was a question. Her breath came quickly.

He reached for the glove box and fumbled around until he found the condoms they put in there this morning.

Stacey took it from his hand, tearing it open, panting. “I want to.” She peered down at his hardness. Her stomach ignited some more, and her heart fluttered wildly. Damn. With shaking hands, she protected them both, straddled him, then slid him into her.

They moved together. Hard, yet slow. His hands sat on her lower back, helping her. Their eyes never left each other.

Finally, she leaned her forehead to his, and they watched each other come to their end.

They both had to catch their breath. Their lips locked.

He brushed the hair from her face as they stared long and hard into each other’s eyes.

Tristan cleared his throat. “You are so amazing. God, I love you.” He caressed her cheek. “So much.”

Stacey’s heart slowed, and her body relaxed. She tried to memorize every line, every aspect of his face. “I love you, Tristan. It’s such a frightening feeling, but I do.”

He kissed her again. “I’ll never give you a reason to fear our love. I promise.” He glanced away, then he breathed hard. “I’d love to stay here with you, but my aunt and uncle are expecting me soon. We really gotta go.”

Stacey agreed, and they sat up and dressed.
