Her breath catches. “I’m not screwing you in your office, Kyle.”
I smirk. “Are you sure about that, baby?”
I trail my hand up her thigh, hating that she’s wearing stockings because they deny me the easy access I’m seeking.Oh well, looks like these are going to end up ruined.
Riley gasps at the tearing sound of her stockings.
“Kyle, don’t,” she whispers, placing her hand over mine. “I have work to do.”
“So?”
“You have work to do.”
“And?”
I move my hand higher.
Right before my hand slips underneath her skirt, there’s a knock on my office door.
“Kyle, Adam Bachleda, his assistant, Anthony Rogers, and Sam Waterson are here for your next meeting,” Michael calls.
Riley immediately ducks underneath my desk.
“What the hell are you doing?” I growl at her.
“You need to take this meeting and you’ve ripped my stockings. I can’t go out there like this.”
“Get up,” I insist.
“No. Send them in.”
“What the fuc—”
“Kyle,” Michael knocks again. Why the hell he didn’t call like he usually does is pissing me off.
“Come in,” I bark out in anger.
Michael enters my office with the three men trailing him. I lean over and shake their hands before all four of us take a seat.
“Kyle, thank you for meeting with us this morning,” Sam starts. “As you know, I’m leaving town for the next two weeks. This is my only opportunity to speak with you before I leave.”
“No—” I pause when I feel Riley’s hand on my thigh.
What the fuck is she doing?
Her other hand covers my knee. She maneuvers her body in between my legs.
I clear my throat. “It’s not a problem.” We’ve had these weekly progress meetings for almost three months since I was announced as interim COO.
Sam nods. “I’d like to discuss where we are with possible redundancy and what that means for my employees.”
“I’ve assured Sam that we’ll do our best to keep as many employees as possible,” Adam Bachleda says. “I’ve got some projections. Anthony,” he tells his assistant.
“Here you go,” Anthony says, putting a paper before me.
“Shit,” I grunt because Riley is slowly dragging down the zipper of my pants.
All three men look at me, confused.
