"Crazy for you."

"Okay, ya just turned corny."

"Just start this engine and do it the right way."

I start the Bugatti, and I press my foot on the accelerator.

"Aye! That's my princess," he cries out, pumping his fist in the air.

I laugh.

"Now, beep as you're going through, so they open those gates."

I do as he says, and I slam on the horn.

The gates open, and I pull past them.

He asks, "Which way are we going, princess?"

I shrug. "I don't know. Which way should we go?"

He puts his seat back slightly and answers, "It's up to you. You're driving, but don't get used to it. I want to drive this bad boy at some point."

"I told ya that ya could right now. Want me to get out?" I offer.

He shakes his head. "Nope, not this ride. Now, which way are we going? City or country?"

"Why don't we stay in the rural parts."

"Good choice. Turn left," he orders.

I veer down the road, and for several hours, we drive around, joking and laughing. By the time we get back, the bad memories of the Bugatti have faded. I decide that, for now, I'll keep it.

"That was fun," Tynan states, leading me into the house.

I can't argue with him. It was. And now, all I can think is how lucky I am that this is my life and how much I love my husband.

"Let me know how it goes," I order and hang up the phone.

Maeve walks into the room. She slinks over to me. "What are ya doing, babes?"

I grin. "Kicking ass and taking names."

She laughs. "Of course ya are. So..." She tilts her head.

"So...?" I question.

She stares at me.

I ask, "Am I missing something?"

She puts her fingers on my shoulder and slides them down my arm. Tingles burst under my skin. She asks, "When are we going back to New York?"
