Wyatt takes a nervous breath but bobs his head as if he just agreed to something that only they understand.

“Matrimony doesn’t void this position and future prospects for us, yes?” Oscar questions.

“No. It doesn’t,” Coach Cyrus replies with a smirk.

Matrimony? What’s he talking about?

“Then it’s okay for us to do this,” Oscar declares before he and Wyatt turn to face me.

And both drop on one knee.

The way I stare at them as my mind has suddenly malfunctioned makes Katherine squeal as she clearly gets what the fuck is happening before my eyes.

“KENZIE! They’re proposing to you!”

Yup, it definitely takes Katherine screaming in her obnoxious ‘Caren with a C’ voice to snap me out of my daze and truly grasp that Wyatt Cyrus Jr. and Oscar Armani are proposing to me.

Together.

“Before we left the hospital yesterday, Wyatt and I decided that no matter what the circumstances, we’d want to get your family permission to make our relationship… between the three of us official to the public,” Oscar reveals.

Wyatt gulps and nods his head.

“Our families were all in support of the idea on the simple condition we’d affirm this a symbol of our commitment. Originally, they simply asked for a promise ring, but Oscar and I agreed we’re far past that.”

They both look up into my watering eyes before they pull out two boxes. Opening up reveals two rings, the diamonds cut so it’s clear they’re halves of a whole. One diamond is sparkling teal with hints of ocean blue—that ring in Wyatt’s grasp. The other diamond is a dark red ruby, the cut being the opposite to lock with its partnered diamond.

My gawk drops as they pull out the golden rings, and without hesitation, Wyatt takes the lead in taking my hand.

“Kenzie Andrews, my Xandra, will you marry me?” His eyes are already glassy with tears as all his emotions twinkle in the depths of his blue eyes.

I’m fighting not to break down entirely as I quickly nod my head in approval.

“Yes,” I choke on tears as I watch the happiness that blossoms on his face as he slides the ring onto my finger. He quickly hugs and kisses me before Oscar is next to take my hand.

“Sofiya Androsov, my Sweet Kenzie, will you marry me?” One look in his eyes and I know he’s confident about my answer, but I can’t help but draw out the silence, to the point I actually see the worry flicker in his eyes.

“Of course, it’s a yes, silly!” I tease when the tension is going to make me laugh nervously. “You’re the glue that keeps us sane. Yes! I want you to marry me, too.”

“Damn,” Oliver can’t help but comment. “Had my bro going ghost.”

“F-Fuck you,” Oscar curses his brother, but he’s moving to slide the second ring on my finger.

Watching the rings come together makes me realize what the final shape is.

Two broken halves of a heart come together as one.

“Now you’re officially our Heartbreaker Queen,” Oscar whispers before rising up and hugging me tightly. We share a kiss as cheers ignite from our right.

We all glance over to see our families approaching, and I can’t help but cry because despite the craziest shit we just faced as a unit, here they come with congrats balloons and a cake with candles.

“What a better way to celebrate your birthday than with a wedding propose, Sofiya,” Mother announces, making our group stare my way in disbelief.

“Wait! Mack, it’s your birthday today?”

I check my watch, confirming it’s past twelve.

“Right, it’s past twelve,” I nervously admitted with a shy smile. “Yeah, today’s my birthday.”
