Enjoying a bit of dessert before the main course?
I’d love that.
I’m sure Kenzie would love that, too.
“I’m not mad,” she mutters against my lips. “Did you guys grab something?”
“Just drinks,” I answer and can’t stop myself from using my teeth to bite her bottom lip and tug it gently. Staring into her eyes that dance with lust is making me as impatient as ever.
I want her.
In my bed.
Fucking her senseless.
“Want me to order you something?”
“Nah,” she replies and doesn’t hesitate to squeeze in until she’s sitting on Wyatt’s lap. I further grin when she lifts her legs up, lays them on my lap, and crosses one over the other.
Reaching for my second glass, which I’ve barely sipped, she doesn’t hesitate to take a generous taste before she lowers the now empty glass.
Then she reaches for my cigarette, takes it from my grasp, and enjoys a few puffs.
“I’m good for now,” she finally declares. “Good and comfortable.”
I can die and be happy.
Maybe without this aching boner, but the sight of Kenzie sitting along our laps after drinking scotch and smoking our cigarette will take me to heaven.
“Ahem!”
The three of us turn to Winchester and Fernandez, and what a sight.
Winchester is barely staying in place with shaking fury.
Fernandez with a darkened gaze that screams disappointment.
“Oh?” Kenzie takes the lead. “Winchester and Fernandez? What an intriguing sight.” As if this woman is baffled by their presence. “What are you two doing here together at Blood Rock Club?”
“None of your business, Andrews,” Winchester snaps, but Fernandez attempts to smile, but the joyous expression doesn’t reach his eyes.
“Alexandra. Long time,” he begins as he slowly looks at me just so he can acknowledge my presence. His eyes are quick to dismiss my existence as they land on Cyrus Jr.
And seethe with boiling fury.
“Didn’t know you were back with your ex.”
“Ah, really?” Kenzie sighs as she taps her finger onto her lips. “Well, that would make sense. It’s not like I’ve broadcast it to the world or anything. I know social media enjoys portraying our lives because of this whole hockey initiative campaign, but I’m basically a side character. Not important.”
“I wouldn’t say that,” Fernandez mutters, but his disdain is so obvious. “You guys won your first game recently. Heard about the advance difference with Winchester. A shame they couldn’t offer more. Though it was intriguing seeing you on the ice, Cyrus Jr.”
“Had to sub in,” Wyatt states. I like how he’s far more relaxed now without the nerves pulsing through him. “Not permanent or anything. Gotta be a team player sometimes.”
I notice how his right arm moves to further wrap around Kenzie’s waist. Fernandez watches the movement just as intently, which is why I can’t help but place my hand on her bare upper thighs.
Ours.
“Aren’t you in the hockey initiative?” Kenzie surprisingly brings up. “I heard from one of the administrators that you were. I guess you’re growing popular and all.”
