Now, this is what I like to see.
Those who know the true kings holding this town up and not the fake phonies that owe us millions. We could easily contribute to the downfall of Strattonville if we got bored with all the bullshit that happens on the daily here.
This garage in particular is a favorite spot for this shit.
“A-Armani!”
“What are you doing here?”
“What do you mean by ‘I happened?’”
“Exactly that,” I voice as I slowly come to a stop a few steps away from both groups, the three Amigos standing to my right while Winchester is standing on my left. “I happened, and now they’re not joining us this fine early morning. Probably past their bedtime. Waiting for the cue from their comrades is a tiring task if you ask me.”
“No fucking way did you single-handedly take out twenty-five men!”
“Armani must be high.”
“What did you really do? Bribe them with Winchester’s money?”
I notice how the other two look at their comrade like he’s lost his marbles.
“Yo, you don’t know about Armani?”
“Know what, Bro? All I need to know is he’s Winchester’s puppy dog and the new goalie of the Pincer Blades or whatever. People are only intrigued by him because he’s huge as fuck.”
As if that’s a bad thing in the realm of hockey.
“Shit, man. Armani is—”
“You three done?” I interrupt. “I have shit to do. Either fuck off, or I’ll have to kill you here and now. I don’t got time to drag your bodies and lay them along the highway for the cops to pick up.”
“Shit… you didn’t do that?”
“What’s he smoking, Bro?”
“Did you actually put our crew on the side of the road?”
I’m too lazy to focus too much on their bland appearances, but it’s clear that the two older ones not only know who I really am but believe I’m not just here to be a decoy.
The younger one is clueless.
“Don’t believe me?” I ask and begin to walk toward them.
The older two flinch and take a few steps back, but the younger one is trying to be bold as he widens his stance.
Stupid.
“You think because you’re a fat ass that we’re going to believe you had enough strength to take our crew, carry their bodies, and lay them on the side of the road?” he spits out while clenching his fists.
He’s trying to make himself bigger, but it’s all a façade. One that I think is cute and annoying at the same time.
If this was Kenzie insulting me, maybe I wouldn’t be as impatient. I personally like when she taunts me, even if I don’t show it.
If she knew it turned me on, she’d do it every chance she gets.
This childish douche, however, was poking a bear on the verge of ripping his heart out.
Especially with calling me fat.
