“You can join us if you want?” I offer as if I don’t know what his immediate answer is going to be.

“No.”

Ding. Another point to Wilson.

“O’Riley!”

I glance over, only to see three of my best pals.

The moment Mikayla gets sight of them, she’s gasping while her eyes grow wide in pure excitement.

“No pucking way!” She’s looking at me as if I planned this shit—God, I wish I did because she looks so fucking happy—but I can’t dare break it to her that we’re here for business.

Let her enjoy the waves. I’ll tell her later.

“Are all of you here?” she whispers.

All of us. Nine of us.

“Nah, just us four,” I encourage and nudge my head in Jayce’s direction. “And Winchester.” I purposely keep things professional, which further pisses him off enough to back down.

“Have fun dancing,” he huffs and is gone before we can reply, but Mkaykay is letting grumpy pants jet because her focus is on the three men coming our way.

“Holy pucking shit! Is that our Mikayla?!”

“Pucking red hair! Jesus, were you possessed, Mickey?”

“Or drunk as fuck. Wasn’t Wyatt here? He’d go all Russian and be like, ‘Mishka! What have you done?!’”

Mkaykay laughs up a storm and ends up hugging Wolfgang first.

“You’re Russian! You can say that shit yourself, stupid!” she hollers as she hugs him. “Wolfgang! Holy Puck, I haven’t seen you in years! You’re HUGE!”

“Gotta be, Mishka,” he chuckles and literally lifts her up like she weighs nothing.

Honestly, she probably does weigh nothing to all of us. She’s one-third our PR weight.

“Look at you.” He whistles. “Our Heartbreaker Queen got hot real quick!”

“I was always hot!” she defends and slaps his chest to let her down.

“You don’t remember our fierce queen gathering all the boys in the yard?” Ace reminds us before he steals her away for a hug from behind. “Ready to kick their balls and toss them into dumpsters!”

“Oh God, I forgot about that!” She laughs and looks up. “Ace!”

“Hey, Mickey. What did you say to chase your stalker away, hmm?”

“He hears you call her Mickey, and he’s gonna come right the fuck back,” I point out, which has the guy laughing his head off.

“Let him! I can fight! He remembers that clearly after that broken nose.”

“So, I’m gonna be the peacemaker, as usual.”

“Damian, you ain’t no peacemaker!” Our girl still remembers the biggest troublemaker to exist in our crew. Damian was just ruthless.

“I tried,” he admits with a shrug before he hugs her while she’s still in Ace’s arms. “Damn, Mikayla. It’s been pucking years.”

“You guys still use the whole puck, pucking safe words,” she sounds so shocked by something so little. “I thought you’d stop. It’s childish, isn’t it?”
