They exchange a look before they reply together, “Do what?”

“Ugh!! Stop doing that,” I wiggle out of their hold and skip a few steps, so I can think straight. Having three hunky men surrounding you with their possessive hands on parts of your body makes your hormones think faster than your logical brain cells.

They try to answer, but I put my hand up with a single finger, which silences them.

“What if someone sees us? I don’t want you guys being targeted. Outside of my dorm and I guess you guys’ place, where no one can hear or see us, we can’t be all touchy like this.”

“But what if it’s our property?” Maddox inquires and is already approaching me. “Then it doesn’t matter, yes?”

“I said your place,” I acknowledge just as he reaches me. Within seconds, I’m in his hold once more. It’s as if he can’t take his hands off me.

“Yes, you did,” he voices right back.

I can’t fight the way my body leans against him by default.

Damn, Captain knows the power he holds over me and my poor heart.

“Then why are we still having this debate, O’Riley?” I question and narrow my eyes up at his grinning face. “And you’re still holding me.”

“I’m allowed to hug my girlfriend, Johnson,” he reminds me as if I had forgotten. “Last time I checked, this is our property, so unless someone is going to helicopter over to try to get pictures of us, we can do whatever we want.”

My brain is attempting to comprehend what he just said, and yet, nothing seems to be working.

He’s allowed… because it’s their property…

“My brain isn’t computing,” I summarize.

Maddox chuckles and kisses my forehead before letting me go.

“Yo, Augustus. Wanna share the grand news with our Heartbreaker Queen?”

I turn around to see Wolfgang approaching us with a grey bag that says TOKYO S on it.

“You guys had Mishka this entire time and didn’t tell her we’re official homeowners?” Wolfgang questions in surprise. “I seriously thought you guys would have a foursome or some crazy shit.”

I’m completely red in seconds as Maddox chokes on his saliva. Damien is laughing and Ace groans.

“I delayed us,” Ace admits. “My bad.”

“You better make up for that then,” Damien points out. “I hate missed opportunities.”

“Likewise,” Maddox notes as he hugs me from behind. “Where’d you go, Wolfgang? You left after we signed the final documents.”

“Figured we needed some extra stuff to celebrate tonight,” he confesses and stops before us. “I put the vodka, rum, and gin in the fridge, which we better stock up before the stores close.”

“The fridge,” I whisper and look in the distance to the large house in the distance. “Which fridge?”

Wolfgang’s devious smile forces me to connect the dots. My eyes grow wide as my darting eyes go from Wolfgang to the house in the distance, then Damien and Ace, who take the few steps to close our mini circle.

Glancing over my shoulder, I’m inches from Maddox’s face. The two of us share a look before it finally clicks.

“You guys bought this place?” I can barely say the words.

It just doesn’t seem real. I didn’t doubt them when they mentioned the idea of buying a place, so they didn’t have to stay in the dorms for this first season, but actually acting upon it and buying a house was hard to comprehend.

Not renting an apartment or buying a little studio condo for each of themselves, but an entire house for them to share?

“The entire place?” I press when none of them answer. “That huge house down there. The backyard… which leads all the way here to the forest over there. Wait. Is that a damn lake?”
