“What can we do?” Priest asks.

“She won’t listen,” Blade hisses.

“She’s so fucking stubborn,” Steel huffs.

“Well, maybe if you didn’t stake a claim within five fucking seconds of meeting her and telling her you're gonna marry her. I mean, fuck, Steel, what were you even thinking?” Dice spits at him.

“What, can't handle the competition? I was thinking she’s perfect and everything I’ve ever wanted and… Fuck, are you two fucking?” Steel sounds so defeated.

“What? No, we’re not fucking.” Dice is clearly pissed now too.

“Fuck,” Steel spits.

“Fucking hell!” Viking spits too.

“I am gonna marry her!” Steel sounds so confident in that statement.

“Not fucking helping, Steel!” Dice spits again.

“I’m gonna take her out for breakfast; then we can talk,” Steel informs them.

“Do you honestly think taking her somewhere that openly gives you knives is a great place for you to talk?” Dice asks.

“They’re pretty blunt, as far as knives go.” Steel smirks. I can hear it in his voice.

“I bet she could kill you with a fucking spoon if she really wanted to.” Dice laughs at him.

“Yeah, I reckon she could chop his dick off with a spoon,” Tank informs him.

“Yeah, I reckon she could skin you in under five minutes with a spoon.” Priest almost sounds proud.

“I reckon she could remove his eyeballs and his testicles in less than three.” Blade grins.

“Why am I the one you’re all aiming her anger at? Maybe, just maybe, it was one of you that upset her.” Steel tries to convince them.

“Nope, it was you!” Priest sounds smug.

“Yep, you!” Tank adds.

“Definitely you!” Ares laughs.

Then there’s a big sigh. “Fine, I got a little overexcited and maybe scared her away a little, but I will figure it out. We just need to talk, okay?” Steel’s clearly trying to reason with everyone.

“Fine,” Priest answers.

“Okay,” Tank says.

“Agreed,” Viking replies.

“Sure.” Blade’s clearly done with this whole conversation.

“She won’t do it,” Dice grinds out.

“Give him a chance,” Ares pleads.

“He can’t fuck it up any more than he has already,” Dice says again.

“Fuck you all,” Steel spits!
