“So, how long did it take you?”

“Maybe an hour, an hour and a half at most!”

“Ah, good, so your mum asked me to pick you up, okay?”

“Thanks, Ray, I appreciate that!”

“Okay, kiddo, stay sharp. I’ll see you soon!”

“Okay, Ray, I love you!”

“Love you too, kiddo. Always and Forever!”

“Right, you little bitch I’m turning your phone off. Fuck it if she gets pissy. You’re not gonna be around much longer. We’re moving you in a couple of days!”

“Steel, can I have a word in private?”

“Yeah, sure, baby. You have a plan, don’t you?”

“I do!”

“I’m not gonna like it, am I?”

“Not so much, no!”

Taking a heavy breath, he stands from his seat and follows me into the villa, making sure we aren’t followed and we aren’t spied upon by any of Carmen’s guys. At the moment, I don’t trust any of them. Someone knew Tali’s driver wasn’t picking her up till later. Someone here is working with the Hellhounds, and until I find out who, and they have been eradicated, I trust no one.

I don’t trust anyone but my brothers and my husband, period. “I need to go in alone. If I go in as a club whore, I can walk straight in the door, no questions asked!”

“Are you fucking kidding me? They will recognise you!”

“They won’t, trust me. They’re shallow and useless. They won’t even put two and two together. They’re Neanderthals. If I go in alone, I can convince Cerberus to show me around. Can you guys get me a bag into the bathroom window when I need it? I’m gonna need some firepower!”

“Ray, I don't like this! How far are you willing to take the club slut thing, as there are certain things we can’t come back from.”

“I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get Tali back in one piece. I'm also willing to listen to and work around your boundaries!”

Letting out a shaky breath, he grabs my face gazing into my eyes.

“I can’t… I don’t…”

I reach up to cup his face. “Hey, just say it, okay?”

“I think I can handle some mild touching, possibly a kiss, definitely nothing sexual. I don't think I can come back from that. It will rip me apart!”

“Okay.”

“Okay?”

“Yeah, I’m not gonna lose you to get Tali back. I will make it work and get her back while not stepping over your boundaries. I will work it out. I need you guys as backup and maybe to make a diversion down the line!”

After discussing the details of my plan, we head back to the pool. “Carmen, do you have an armoury of sorts? If not, I can get what we need, but it will take a few hours; we’ll need more… tools.”

Carmen nods towards Viking. He gets up from his seat. “I can show you.”
