“Don’t touch my shit, asswad,” she snapped.

“Tyler,” Charles warned, shaking his head as he got to his feet with a grimace. He pressed a hand to his ribs. “Don’t. This isn’t what we’re here for.”

Her jaw dropped open. “Are you fucking kidding me? We shouldn’t be here at all, Chase.”

“Chase?” I arched a brow.

He gave a small shrug. “Nickname.”

“Adorable,” I deadpanned, barely holding onto my fury. He had three seconds before I lost what little hold I had on my shit.

His head tilted as he watched me. “Madison sure thought so.”

I was on him before I registered what he’d said. His back crashed into the wall, rattling a picture free and sending it shattering against the floor as my forearm pressed across his throat. “The fuck did you just say?” I ground out. Then it penetrated, my eyes going wide before I could control the emotions spiraling in my chest. “Madison?”

“Let him go!” Tyler shouted, held back easily when Ash grabbed the back of her oversized hoodie in his fist. Standing more than half a foot taller than the petite girl, he looked down at her with something like amusement flickering in his green eyes while she struggled.

Charles coughed and spluttered, his face turning red. He tried to push me off, but I wasn’t budging. He was in decent shape, but he didn’t have the power—or rage—I did. I leaned harder against him, just because I could.

“Stop!” Tyler cried behind me.

When he was damn close to passing out, I let him go. He sucked in a ragged gasp and started coughing as he slid down the wall to the floor.

“Tell me where she is,” I growled, “or next time I won’t stop.”

“Fucking wanker,” he wheezed, glaring at me. “I came here to help you. For her.”

My knuckles cracked as I made a fist at my side. “You have ten seconds to explain.”

“That’s generous,” Royal rumbled behind me with a snort.

“How do you know—”

“Her name?” Charles cut me off, still rubbing his throat. “Because I knew Madelaine. The real Madelaine, and while I’d love to sit here and explain everything to you, I came here because Madison is in trouble.”

“No shit,” Court snapped, leaning a shoulder on the wall leading from the dining room into what would’ve been the formal living room if this had been a house for a normal family.

“I also happen to know exactly where she is,” he replied. His gaze flickered to Tyler. “For now.”

“What does that mean?” Ash asked as I demanded for the third—and final—time, “Where is she?”

Tyler twisted away from Ash and opened her laptop, balancing it in one hand as she tapped a few keys. “They’re still there. For now.” She scowled at me while Ash reached over her shoulder and plucked the laptop from her fingers.

“Hey!” She turned and tried to grab it, but Bishop caught her around the waist and kept her back. “Get off me, you cow-dick-sucking twatwaffle!”

“That’s creative,” Knight said with a chuckle. “Do cows have dicks? I thought it was the bulls.”

I only had eyes for Ash as he looked at whatever she’d been seeing. His gaze lifted to mine. “It’s the place in Montana.” He looked at Charles. “How’d you find her?”

“Again,” Charles gritted out, “it’s a long story. All that matters is that Gary tried to kill me,” he pointed to the bruise on his jaw, “when he realized I was there to help Maddie. It took Tyler and I two days to get here. You have to get her now. I cannot stress how much danger she’s in.”

“Especially after the fucked-up shit that pencil dick did to her,” Tyler added grimly. She winced and looked at the floor.

I felt my heart plummet to my feet. “What did he do to her?”

“Not nearly as much as he will if you don’t go get her.” Charles stared at me. “Now.”

“How’d you even find us?” Ash asked, looking up from the screen.
