As Kenji circled her, his predatory gaze fixed on her trembling frame, she knew it was only a matter of time before he made his move.

"When Ryuji finds out about this, he will kill you." She said.

Kenji's laughter was devoid of humor, the sound cold and cruel in the darkness. "So, you think he can stand up to the likes of me?" He jeered, his body tensed with barely contained fury.

Lily swallowed hard, her heart pounding furiously in her chest. Despite her fear, she refused to cower before him. "I am not afraid of you, Kenji."

Kenji leaned in close enough for her to smell the sake on his breath. "I am our clan's greatest warrior. No one can kill me."

Kenji growled, his lips curling into a snarl.

"If you believe that, then you truly don't understand who you're dealing with." Lily spat, her voice laced with defiance.

Kenji's eyes burned with malice, a dangerous glint in their depths. He stepped closer, his hands curling into fists. "You should be more careful when speaking to someone like me, sweetheart." His voice dropped, taking on a silky, sinister tone.

Lily was quick to remember she was the one tied up with this psychopath. Her only hope was that Ryuji would come soon.

As Kenji paced back and forth, his anger mounting, Lily desperately tried to focus on anything other than the harrowing events unfolding around her. Fear, however, proved to be an insatiable companion, refusing to relinquish its hold upon her.

Her thoughts drifted to Ryuji, wondering if he would come looking for her. Could he possibly rescue her from this living nightmare? The idea provided a brief moment of solace, allowing her to temporarily push aside the horror that engulfed her.

As her thoughts turned to Ryuji, she hoped that somehow, someway, he would find her. The image of his familiar features brought comfort, serving as a lifeline in the midst of this chaos.

Time wore on, the silence pressing heavy upon them both.

Lily discretely fidgeted with the knots holding her hands behind her back.

The sensation of her wrists burning under the tight binding sent a wave of anxiety surging through her. She couldn't afford to lose focus – now was not the time to panic. Instead, she needed to think of a plan, devise a strategy to turn this seemingly hopeless situation around.

Kenji's arrogance could very well prove to be his undoing. If she could just stay calm and play along until Ryuji arrived, she might yet survive this nightmare.

Lily continued to struggle with her bindings, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination. There had to be a way out of this hellhole. She needed to remain composed, gather her strength, and use her intelligence to escape. After all, even the most skilled warriors could be felled by the smallest of mistakes.

But for now, Lily had to make peace with the fact that she was at Kenji's mercy. She forced herself to calm down, focusing instead on finding a way to escape.

Kenji paced restlessly, his eyes scanning the room as if seeking reassurance that he was still in control.

Lily's heart pounded in her chest, her fear heightening as she realized she was at the mercy of this man. He had proven himself to be a ruthless and violent adversary, and her only hope for survival lay in playing along until help arrived.

"When Ryuji gets here, he's gonna kill you." She couldn't hold back her anger any longer. "He will take you down easily."

Kenji's face lit up with laughter. "You think I'm the only one here?"

Dread prickled down Lily's spine.

"So you're really going to betray your leader and bring him right into this trap? That's suicide!"

Kenji laughed mockingly. "Who says I'll fail? Besides, if I do, Ryuji will probably take care of you."

Lily's heart beat rapidly in her chest, fear and fury intermingling. She had to keep him talking, buy time for Ryuji to arrive. "Why do you hate Ryuji so much? You know, deep down, you respect him," Lily probed. "Even though you have issues with him, it doesn't justify this behavior."

Kenji paused, reflecting on her words. "I don't hate him," he finally admitted. "But he has too much power. And you know what they say, power corrupts. But, I guess in this case it was some gaijin pussy that corrupted him."

A slight chill ran down Lily's spine as she considered Kenji's words. This man was indeed a complex individual - a combination of loyalty and betrayal, fear and audacity.

Kenji leaned in with his knife, holding it dangerously close to her face. "I wonder if he'd still want you if you weren't so pretty?" He said through his teeth.

Then, a gun shot rang out.
