“No.”
“Then, no, Honor. It makes you human. And the fact that you came out and are becoming whoever it was you were meant to be all along, makes you brave, babe.”
CHAPTER 14
“You call me babe all the time,” Honor said.
Silver smiled and reached for Honor’s neck under her hair, which she massaged.
“Sorry; you asked me not to do that.”
“No, I guess I just wondered why.”
“I don’t know.”
“Do you call the other women you’ve had sex with babe?”
“Not usually. Maybe it slips out from time to time. When we’re…”
“Like it did with me?”
“Yes.”
“But now, we’re just talking.”
“Yes, babe,” Silver said with a smirk.
Honor smiled at her and rested back into Silver’s touch a little more.
“Do you want me to stop?”
“What your hand is doing, or calling me babe?”
“Either. Both.”
“I think I’m okay with both for now.”
“Do you want to lean back into me so I can give you a real shoulder massage?”
“Won’t that lead to something we’re not supposed to talk about?”
“Not if we don’t want it to.”
“Don’t we want it to, though?” Honor asked.
Silver licked her lips and said, “Yes, we do. But we’re not doing that tonight.”
“Okay,” Honor agreed. “I think… I’d like that.”
Silver moved so that she was leaning back against the arm of the sofa and spread her legs. She caught Honor’s eyes drift downward for a second before moving back to Silver’s eyes. Then, Honor leaned back against her, and Silver began giving her a shoulder massage.
“So, tell me more about you,” Silver requested.
“Like what?”
“Anything.”
“I’m really boring, Silver. I’d rather hear about you.”
