“Why not?”
“I don’t know,” Honor revealed. “You just do something to do me.”
“You do something to me, too,” Silver told her.
“But how? You can have anyone. I watched you take that woman last night.”
“I know. I saw you watching me. You made me come.” Silver took a step closer to her.
“I think she made you come.”
Silver shook her head in objection and said, “No, you did. Watching you come made me need it in a way I can’t even explain. I might have been fucking her, but I wanted to be fucking you, Honor.”
She watched Honor swallow hard and asked, “What are you doing right now?”
“Going home.”
“Go to a diner with me. It’s down the street. We can walk.”
“A diner?”
“It’s public. I promise, I won’t try to convince you to let me fuck you there.”
Honor laughed, and Silver smiled.
“Just to talk, Honor. I mean it when I say that I can’t stop thinking about you.”
“Okay. Yeah, I’ll go.”
CHAPTER 11
“Coffee?” the waitress asked without greeting them when they sat down.
“Yes, please,” Silver said as she put her bag on the booth seat and slid into it.
Honor sat on the other side and nodded to the waitress, who walked away without saying anything else.
“Nice place,” she said.
Silver laughed and replied, “They’re not known for their service, no. So?”
“So?” Honor repeated.
“Thank you for agreeing to come here with me. I know you didn’t have to.”
“I have work tomorrow, so I can’t stay long. It’s already late.”
“Do you want to eat with me? I’m going to get a burger or something. I’m starving.”
“I bet. You probably worked off a lot of calories tonight.”
“Huh?” Silver let out.
“The scene,” Honor explained.
“What scene?”
“The one you were in last night. Why weren’t you in it every night, though? I thought you said the performances are the same.”
