“You’ll tell me if that ever changes for you?”
“Yes, but I don’t think I could manage having two or more girlfriends, Silver. I never thought I’d have one. I know this sex part changes things, but I do still picture myself actually only being with one person.”
Silver smiled and said, “Good. Me too. Open communication is key, though.”
“I’ll tell you if something changes.”
“Me too,” Silver replied. “Now, the sex part.”
“We already talked about the sex part.”
“We talked about communication and safety, but not the actual sex part. I don’t know that strict rules will work for me. Like, how many nights a week I should spend with you or how many people I can sleep with – I feel like the best part of it is that it’s organic.”
“Agreed.”
“And, Honor?”
Honor looked at her with curiosity.
“One day, when you’re ready, I want you there with me.”
“There with you?”
“Maybe with Brandi and Dev, if you’re interested.”
“Oh,” Honor let out. “Multiple people?”
Silver nodded this time and said, “Yes. I’d love to watch Dev go down on you while I’m eating Brandi out.”
“We have got to stop talking about this.” Honor fanned herself with her free hand.
“Yeah?”
“Yes,” Honor told her.
“So, we won’t make rules about, like, date nights and number of times you and me are together or something, but I do think we should have regular dates and we just have sex whenever we want.”
“Okay. Agreed.”
“Sleepovers. Where do you stand?”
“With you?”
“With other people?”
“Oh,” Honor said. “Maybe only if we have to. Like, if we had too much to drink or we couldn’t get a ride home or something. I guess I could come and pick you up from someone’s place in the middle of the night, but that means I’m waking up, and I’d rather you just be safe there.”
“So, no sleepovers, then, unless we can’t get home?”
“Is that okay?”
“Yes. That’s what I want, actually.”
“Okay. Wait… You said home. We live in two different places.”
“Maybe not forever. We’ll have to see how that goes, but we make time for each other every day, whatever that looks like. It could be a text or phone call, or it could be a date or just sex – whatever we want. But it’s every day. I think that’s important. If I’m sleeping somewhere else because I’m wasted or something, I’ll text you that I’m somewhere else. You do the same.”
“Silver, how do we deal with the obvious?”
