“Morning,” Honor replied. “Just what are you doing back there?”

“Nothing.”

“Nothing?” Honor laughed. “So, that’s not you moving against my ass right now?”

“A little bit. Should I stop?”

“No,” Honor said.

“Should I get you naked?”

Honor went to say yes but caught sight of the old-style clock Silver had on the wall behind her kitchen table.

“Is that the time?”

“I guess.” Silver kissed the back of Honor’s neck. “I can come like this, babe.”

“And I want you to, Silver, but I have to go. I have a meeting. Shit.” Honor stood quickly. “I have to go.”

“Fuck,” Silver let out, rolling onto her back, hands covering her face. “Okay. Just give me a second. I’ll drive you.”

“No, it’s okay. I need to leave now. I’ll order a car,” Honor said and found her phone on the table. “I am so late. I need to go. Can I wear these clothes and get them back to you?”

“Keep them, for all I care,” Silver replied. “But you’re coming to the show tonight, right?” She dropped her hands from her face.

“I’ll be there, but I’ve got to go.”

“Wait. Honor, don’t yet.”

Honor confirmed the car she’d just ordered and said, “It’ll be downstairs in two minutes.”

“Can I have your number?”

“Oh,” she said. “You don’t have my number, do you?”

“No. And just in case you decide not to show up tonight, or you get stuck in some meeting, I want to make sure I can text you.”

“Can I get yours, too?”

“Obviously,” Silver replied with a smirk.

???

Silver Kincade: I want to swirl my tongue around your clit until you come.

Honor flipped her phone screen over and tried to cover her blush with her hands.

“You okay?” Kathleen asked.

“Yup. Okay. Where were we?”

“Going over the benefit plans,” Kathleen reminded.

Honor’s phone buzzed again, but she resisted picking it up as Kathleen reviewed the costs per table and talked about the caterer they’d chosen. When Kathleen went to the printer to grab the seating chart off the output tray, Honor flipped her phone back and read the message.

Silver Kincade: When I’m fucking Brandi tonight, I’m going to be staring at you.

“Oh, my God,” Honor said to herself.
