“She’s a nurse. She’s thirty-three, married, and has a son who’s three.”

“Do you want kids?”

“What?” Silver laughed a little. “We’re already talking about kids?”

“I just meant in general.”

“No, I don’t want kids. Do you want, like, four kids?”

“No.” Honor shook her head. “I don’t want kids.”

“Really? You seem like the kind of woman who would want a house full.”

“I don’t. My sister said she wants, like, eight. I figured I’d just be a good aunt and give them back to her at the end of the day.”

“My kind of woman,” Silver replied with a little sexy smirk.

“Tell me more about yourself.”

“I want to take you home,” Silver said.

“Silver…”

“Fine.” She laughed and added, “I… grew up here but moved away for college. I came back after that.”

“What did you go to school for?”

“Art history. You?”

“Business.”

“Did you get an MBA?”

“No, I went right into non-profit work, which was what I wanted.”

“I got my master’s in art history, too,” Silver shared. “My grad program was here, though, and I went at night. I just got that damn diploma about a year ago. I doubt my professors thought I’d end up making a performance art piece like this, huh?”

“Probably not,” Honor said with a laugh. “Why art?”

“I’ve always been drawn to it.”

“Do you do any kind of art yourself?”

“Besides fucking the woman last night?”

Honor laughed and shook her head.

“I paint sometimes,” Silver revealed. “Surprisingly, I paint naked women.”

“You do, huh?”

“Yes, I do.”

“Say it.” Honor laughed. “Say what I know you’re thinking right now.”

“Can I paint you, Honor?”

Honor laughed again and replied, “You saw my entire body the other night. I’m pretty sure you could paint me from memory.”
