“Oh,” Silver said as the waitress brought them two mugs of coffee.

“Food?” the woman asked.

“Burger and fries, please,” Silver replied. “Everything on it is fine,” she added.

“You?” the waitress asked Honor.

“Um… Do you have a salad?”

“What dressing?”

“Honey mustard, if you have it.”

“On the side?”

“How did you know?” Honor asked her.

The waitress walked off again without answering the question.

“Did it bother you that I was in the scene last night?” Silver asked.

“No,” she lied.

“Not at all?” Silver checked as she added a creamer to her coffee. “Not even a little bit?”

“Why would it?” Honor swallowed and reached for her own coffee.

“Because you wanted me to be inside you like that.”

“No, I didn’t,” Honor insisted.

“Okay… So, it didn’t bother you at all that I was fucking her while I was staring at you, picturing the thick cock being buried in your warm, wet–”

“Jesus, Silver,” Honor let out, interrupting her and crossing her legs under the table.

“Just admit it, Honor; it bugged you.”

“I have no right to be bothered by whomever you sleep with.”

“But you were bothered by it?”

“Yes,” she finally admitted.

“Why?”

“Why do you have to keep asking me questions about this? What does it matter to you?”

“Because I want to know,” Silver shared. “I want to know what you’re thinking right now.”

“That you fucked some woman against a wall tonight and I wanted to be there to watch, but I couldn’t go in and see it again because the thought of you fucking her when I wanted you to be touching me was too much. Okay? Is that good enough?”

“I didn’t fuck anyone tonight,” Silver professed and took a sip of her coffee. “I was filling in for someone last night. They weren’t feeling well, and I didn’t want to cancel the scene for the night. I asked Stephanie, the woman I was with, if she’d be okay with me filling in, and she said yes. Tonight, I was just doing what I normally do: walk around, looking for you.”

“You were looking for me?” Honor took a sip of her still-too-hot and way-too-bitter coffee.

“Of course, I was,” Silver replied. “Honor, I was worried about you. I might be someone who has sex whenever she wants and doesn’t feel ashamed about it, but I’m still a person who cares about people. I wanted you that night. And I haven’t wanted someone like that in a while. I let that get in the way.”

“Silver, you asked me at least ten times if I wanted what we did and checked in a lot. You didn’t do anything I didn’t want you to do.”
