“How did she know?” Honor asked herself. “Your email address has your name in it, idiot,” she added.

Silver hadn’t included a message of any kind. It was merely an automated email with a ticket for that night’s show. Honor still hadn’t decided whether she would go, and after fleeing for the second night in a row now, she had no idea why Silver was so interested in her. Clearly, Honor wasn’t her type of woman, so maybe Silver just wanted to conquer a woman who hadn’t been with another woman or something.

“No, she didn’t know that about you until last night. Fuck!” Honor said that last word a little louder than she intended because she knew now that she would go to the show tonight.

How could she not? She had a free ticket and the need to see Silver again.

???

When Honor arrived at the warehouse, the woman out front didn’t even give her the look anymore. She just scanned the ticket on Honor’s phone and read whatever was on her screen.

“Oh,” she spoke.

“What?” Honor asked.

“You get a free drink at the bar, according to this,” the woman replied. “And all-access. I didn’t even know we had tickets like this.”

“What’s all-access?”

“You don’t know?”

“No.”

“Well, I have no idea, either. Just go on in and find someone with a lanyard. They might know. If not, ask for Silver Kincade. She’s in charge, so she’ll know. She has to; she makes the ticket codes.”

“Okay. Thanks,” Honor replied and swallowed before walking inside. “Hi, Jay,” she greeted the security guard she recognized at the door.

“Hey,” he said, clearly not recognizing her.

“The girl who lost her hat.” Honor pointed at herself.

“Oh, shit. Right. Silver’s friend.”

“Um… Yes?” she asked rather than stated.

“She’s in her office if you need her,” Jay told her. “She usually comes out here right before the show starts.”

“Okay. Thank you,” Honor replied.

She didn’t know if Silver expected her to go to her office, but Honor didn’t. She walked to the bar instead and ordered a red wine that she paid for on principle because she also wanted to support the installation, and she’d already gotten a free ticket. Silver could’ve been in her office with someone, or multiple someones, and Honor didn’t want to interrupt that. She wouldn’t mind watching that, but she hadn’t been invited to do so.

She waited for the show to start in the designated waiting area and wasn’t approached by anyone this time. When the lights finally flickered, she moved slowly toward the third row of scenes that she still hadn’t laid her eyes on, thanks to Silver’s most welcome yet frustrating interruption.

Honor stopped in her tracks when she saw two women come out from behind a barrier. One of them was wearing a strap-on, and the other was already naked and had her hands on her breasts. The performers never really spoke to one another, Honor had noticed, but if Honor were the one wearing the toy, she knew what she’d say to the woman she was walking toward.

“Are you ready for me?” she’d ask.

“Yes,” the woman would say.

“Then, show me.”

Of course, Honor knew she’d never have the courage to say those things to another woman, so she stood there and watched as the fully naked woman stood against a load-bearing column off to the side of the faux room. She spread her legs and began touching herself while the other woman rubbed lube on the toy between her own legs. Then, she just kept rubbing it. Her hand moved slowly up and down as she stroked it and watched the other woman touching herself. Honor wasn’t sure why that was so sexy, but it was to her, and her eyes were glued to that hand moving up and down before the woman’s other hand disappeared inside the shorts she was wearing, and she closed her eyes for a moment.

“Like what you see?”

It was Silver’s voice behind her.

“Yes,” Honor said.
