“Hands down,” Jake ordered.
She automatically dropped her arms.
Jake smiled, reached for her hand, and led her to one of the doors in the room. The bathroom had the same soothing earth-tone colors as the bedroom. Everything seemed oversized to her, but looking at Jake’s size made sense to her. The man would want to be comfortable in his own home.
He started the huge shower and pulled a few towels from a closet, setting them in the shower on a bench. “Do you need help with anything?”
She bit down on her lip and shook her head.
“All right. I’ll bring something for you to wear. Call out if you need me.”
“I will.”
“You should have everything you need. Cat brought several things. We’ll get you your own things in the next day or so.”
“Oh, you don’t have to do that. I have everything I need in my backpack.”
“We’ll see.”
She waited for the door to close before pulling the t-shirt and her panties from her body. She took the rubber band off her hair and finger-combed it to separate the braid she’d had it in.
Hannah walked into the shower and stood dazed for a moment. She’d never been in something that luxurious before. She stood under the spray for a moment before reaching for the shampoo. Within five minutes, she had her hair washed and conditioned and her body scrubbed clean. She turned the water off and grabbed one of the towels. After squeezing as much moisture out of her hair as she could, she wrapped it in the towel before reaching for the other one and wrapping it around her body.
Standing in front of the mirror, she noticed the folded shirt off to the side. She lifted it and put it up against her body. The thing was huge, like the last one he had her in. He was a large man, so it shouldn’t surprise her that his clothing was big. But holding it up in front of her showed the difference in their heights. He was the largest man she’d ever been around. That should worry her, shouldn’t it?
A knock on the door startled her. “Yes,” she said.
“Are you about done, Sweetheart?”
“Oh, no. I’m still in the towel.”
“Put the shirt on, and I’ll help you with your hair.”
Help? How would he help her? She quickly pulled the shirt over her head and let it drape down her body. The thing was larger than the nightgown she wore. She looked around for panties but didn’t even see the clothing she had on.
“I’m dressed.”
The door opened instantly, and Jake walked in. Although the room was quite large, seeing him standing behind her in the mirror made it shrink and caused her breathing to deepen and her heart rate to rise.
“I can’t find my underwear.”
“I took them. They’re in the wash.”
The fact that she was naked except for the thin t-shirt he’d given her made her anxious.
His hands landed on her shoulders as they stared at each other in the mirror. “You’re safe here, Sweetheart. I know we’ve just met, but I hope you’ll soon trust me and not be afraid. I won’t let anything happen to you.”
“But … you don’t know me,” she said.
“I know enough.”
“How?”
He smiled gently. “I know you’re alone in the world. Later, I’ll have you tell me why. You’re traveling, and I’m guessing it’s because you’re trying to find your place on Earth.”
She nodded and blinked a few times to hold back tears. It seemed like she’d spent her whole life doing that because she’d never had a place to call her own. She’d lived in apartments wherever she went, but she knew it was temporary, so she didn’t become attached to any single place or person. It made it easier to move on.
“I know you have a gentle soul and are submissive to your bones.”
