“They’ve been here for a while. You’d think they knew better than to touch any Dom without permission,” Rick said.

“I’ll talk to my partners about it. We’ll put a rule in place and maybe have the women take a class here that goes over all the rules and what we expect of them. If they don’t comply, they’re out. I hate dealing with it.”

“I do, too.”

Jake looked at his watch. “Only two more hours, and then I can slide into my sweet sub.”

Rick grinned. “You lucky bastard.”

“That I am.”

Jake slapped his shoulder. “I’m going to make another round.”

“Yeah, me, too.”

Jake looked around at the huge crowd. He was pleased with how many people were interested in the club. He and his partners had been shocked. Not all of them knew about the lifestyle, so they gave classes to the men who wanted to become Doms.

They had been thinking about classes for subs, but Jake was going to push it. Several women he knew said they were subs but were playing at it and not submissives. He didn’t like that kind of deceit. This lifestyle was not something you pretended to do when you were bored. The ones here who were serious about it wanted to live it, and he and his partners were willing to do what they could to make it happen.

Jake checked the rooms to ensure everyone had left before going upstairs. The first thing he did was look around and was disappointed that he couldn’t see Hannah. He hoped she was already in bed. He had planned to fuck her, but if she were tired, he’d just be glad to hold her. She’d been acting withdrawn lately, and he hoped to take her away for a few days and hope she would open up to him.

He knew she thought something was wrong with him, but it was the opposite. He’d been working with a jeweler in town on a choker for her and a ring for him that matched. He also had an engagement ring made. He didn’t plan on asking her to marry him for another month or so. He wanted her relaxed and certain about the lifestyle. He didn’t know what he would do if she decided against it. He would do whatever it took to keep her, even if it meant buying a house and living there with her. He couldn’t let go of the club, but they’d work it out.

He waved at Caden, who was cleaning the bar, and went upstairs. He walked into his bedroom, and it took him a moment to notice the bed was empty and made.

He turned and made his way back to the living room, thinking she was asleep on the sofa again. When that was empty, he felt panic start to rise. He rushed through the condo, and she wasn’t there. He rushed out of his place, reached Macy’s, and pounded on the door.

Macy answered. “What happened?”

“Is Hannah here?” he asked.

Macy looked confused, and then a muscle in his cheek throbbed.

“I wondered what was wrong with Cat. She’s been upset, and I can’t get her to tell me what it is.”

“Where is she? Can I talk to her?” Jake asked.

“Sure. She’s in the bedroom.”

Jake followed behind Macy, and his first look at Cat made his stomach tighten with dread.

“Hey, babe. Jake is looking for Hannah,” Macy said as he sat on the edge of the bed and lifted her hand. “Would you happen to know where she is?”

Cat shook her and started crying again. She also wouldn’t look at him.

“Cat,” Jake said. “Please. I’m really worried. I need to know where she is and if she’s in trouble?”

Cat glanced up, and he almost flinched at the anger in her eyes. “You don’t have to worry about her anymore. You can go have all the fun you want now.”

Jake and Macy glanced at each other.

“What does that mean?” Jake asked in confusion.

“She figured it out on her own, so she doesn’t have to hear you say it.”

“Say what?” he asked.

“To leave.”
