“For you. We’re not shopping for me.”

Casey nodded solemnly. “Totally.”

“I might buy a shirt or something but not from your weird fashion doctor.”

“Samir is a genius. Just wait. You’ll look almost as good as me.”

“Almost, huh?”

“Yeah, I mean. Samir is good, but he’s not a wizard.”

“Go work out.” Landon was smiling now. “You can roast me in the car later.”

Casey bounded down the stairs, and Landon found he wasn’t jealous of Zach anymore.

Chapter Eighteen

For the next two days, Casey’s thoughts were always divided. No matter what he was doing, or supposed to be focusing on, at least half of his brain was fixated on one thing: Landon was a virgin.

It wasn’t a big deal, he told himself. Obviously it would be super uncool of Casey to make it a big deal. So what if Landon had never had sex? There were probably tons of people who’d never had sex by age twenty-four. Casey didn’t know any personally, but in the whole world? There had to be plenty.

So there was no reason to be obsessed with the fact that no one—not one person—had ever laid Landon out naked on a bed, admired those miles of lean muscles, straddled his flexible hips and felt that fucking enormous cock press hard against them.

Boring. Who cared? Not Casey.

Landon was sitting across from him now at Casey’s seldom-used dining table, eating the delicious bacon and eggs he’d made for them both. He was reading something on his phone, and Casey was trying not to stare at him. Trying not to wonder how the hell a man this beautiful had never been laid.

Casey had so many questions and he was going to keep every single one of them to himself. Landon didn’t want to talk about it, and it was none of Casey’s business anyway.

So instead he asked, “Have you thought any more about Christmas?”

Landon glanced up from his phone. “Hm?”

“Christmas. You gonna come to the cabin with my family?”

“Oh, um. Actually my parents are thinking about coming to visit for a few days for Christmas. I was going to ask if maybe it would be okay if they stayed here?”

“Of course they can! But what if they came to the cabin too?”

“That’s...it would be too many people.”

“You’d think so, but this cabin has eight bedrooms because my parents don’t do anything on a small scale. Invite them! Have they ever seen the Rockies?”

“No. They haven’t traveled much.”

“Shit, dude. You’ve gotta bring them. It’s, like, an ideal Christmas situation. Mountains, snow, cabin, fireplace. Mom says it’s gonna be fully decorated with a tree and everything.”

Landon did not appear to be convinced, but he said, “I’ll ask them what they think.”

“Rad. It’s just for two nights anyway. And they can stay here for as long as they want.”

“Okay. Thanks. They may not even come, but thanks.”

Casey had a bunch of questions about that too. What was the deal with Landon’s family? He seemed to have an okay relationship with them, but he didn’t mention any members of his family much, and his parents seemed oddly disinterested in their son making the NHL.

Again, though, none of Casey’s business.

“You ready to shop?” he asked cheerfully. Their appointment with Samir was today.
