It’s not like Landon didn’t know. Yes, fine, he seemed to be a little larger than average, but he was also taller than average, and had longer arms and bigger hands than average. Having a dick on the large side made sense, but unlike his other attributes, it didn’t improve his ability to stop pucks, so he didn’t care much about it.

“It’s a normal size,” he mumbled.

“Sure. So do you want me to grab you a box?”

“No.” Landon certainly didn’t need five thousand condoms, or however many were in that crate. “I’m good.”

“Okay. If you ever need to borrow one, let me know. Or, not borrow. I don’t want it back after. You can keep it.” Casey laughed. “That would be really weird.”

Everything about this conversation was really weird, so Landon changed the subject. “Do you usually go home for Christmas? To see your parents?”

“They usually come to me. Mom and Dad rented a cabin near Banff this year, so we’ll all go there. My sister, Brooke, will be there too. She’s in L.A., so we don’t see each other all that much. That doesn’t stop her from having tons of opinions about my life, though. Big sisters, right? What are you gonna do?”

Landon tightened his grip on the shopping cart. “Right.”

“So yeah, it’s always fun to hang with the whole family at Christmas. Hey! You should come too!”

“To your...family Christmas?”

“Totally! There’s lots of room. You can meet my folks and Brooke and my grandma! She’s my dad’s mom. Grandpa died a few years ago, which was awful. My other grandparents do Christmas with my mom’s brother, which is fine because all of those people are dicks. Anyway, you should come to the cabin.”

“It, um. Maybe it’s a bit early to be inviting me to your family’s Christmas,” Landon said carefully.

“Why?”

“I just moved in yesterday. And maybe your parents don’t want some random guy at their Christmas holiday.”

Casey waved a hand. “Of course they will. And you’re not random. Holy, look at the size of that bottle of Tums!”

Landon felt like he could use that entire bottle of Tums right now. “I’ll think about it,” he said, because it was an easy way to back out of this invitation. Casey would probably forget about it anyway.

“There you guys are,” West said as he came around a corner. Gio and Pete were behind him. “I think Nosey wants to leave and he’s the one with the membership, so.”

“I’m done,” Landon said, embarrassed that he’d been holding Clint up.

“Wait,” Casey said, pointing at West’s cart. “Where did you get those cookies?”

“In the automotive department,” West said. “Where the fuck do you think?”

“I want some.”

“No, come on,” Landon said. “Clint is waiting.”

“You’re no fun.”

“I did warn you about that.”

Casey smiled at him. “I’m just kidding. You’re rad. And I can steal one of Westy’s cookies.”

“The fuck you can,” West said.

Landon shook his head and pushed the cart purposefully in the direction of the checkout area.

Oh hell yes. Casey’s living room was looking festive as fuck.

“Check it out,” he called to Landon. “Looks like Christmas Town over here.”

Landon was sitting at the island in the kitchen, eating the last of the Thai food they’d ordered. “Nice,” he said. “What’s holding those lights up?”
