Wow, you go to bed really early! I’m a total night owl. Usually I don’t go to bed until eleven and wake up at six-thirty…in theory. Sometimes I hit the snooze a couple times, dry shampoo my hair, and take off. Don’t judge me.

I’ll let you keep the pumpkin pie unless it’s the last piece, then we may have to square off. But I’ll gladly slip my BS onto your plate (see what I did there…B.S. LOL) They look like plant brains and that gives me the creeps.

Did you just slide into my messages with a Supernatural reference? ‘Cause I freaking love that show, and not just because the leads are hot. I mean…they are, but they’re also funny and the show can really hit me in the feels.

I was never the first one up on Christmas (even as a child, I liked to sleep). You didn’t celebrate Christmas as a kid, but as an adult you are all about it? And I love that you put your brother’s name on his stocking. That is so cute! My mom made us stockings out of our favorite character fabric from when we were toddlers and they are twice as big as a normal stocking, so they hold more goods. My mom buys stocking stuffers all year long, except the candy. That’s fresh…I think.

I am not a big reader, but my favorite gift was my hope chest. It’s a little old-fashioned, but my dad made it for me out of cedar and my mom filled it with one of the prize-winning quilts my grandma made, a dish set she’d started collecting when I was born, and some of my childhood mementos. I keep it below my stairs.

My eyes are getting droopy. TTYT.

I like talking to you, too. It’s funny because I downloaded this app a few months ago, started my profile and never finished it. I assumed with it being such a small town, I wouldn’t have very many options so what was the point?

Now I’m really glad I did.

I like that your favorite gift is something given from the heart, instead of an iPad or something like that. I love the smell of cedar, so good choice of wood on your dad’s part.

Just call me a zombie, because I like plant brains. Slurp. ;)

I’m not much of a fighter, but I am an excellent negotiator. Maybe we could split the pie in half? I don’t mind sharing with you.

And yes, I was talking about Supernatural. It is a fun show and although I like the actors, they aren’t really my type.

What character fabric is your stocking made of?

I love to read. In fact, my spare room has three bookshelves stuffed full of my favorite books.

I need to hop in the shower. I wonder if you’re awake yet.

I was definitely not awake! This was one of those days when the snooze button was a blessing and a curse. Thankfully I was able to get to work on time.

I feel like I should elaborate about the dry shampoo. I still shower. I just don’t get my hair wet because it takes so long to dry. But I don’t show up to work smelling moldy.

Veggie zombie, huh? That’s a new one. I am good with compromise and splitting the last pie slice with you. If I like you enough, I’ll even give you the last bite! And my stocking is Princess Jasmine from Aladdin.

My favorite book is The Hobbit.

I’m glad to know you smell good. I sometimes shower twice a day because I hate climbing into bed with the day on my skin.
