“Hey,” she breathes, and I can see the relief on her face. I wait for her to invite me in, I’m cautious, hesitant. My greedy eyes roam up and down her body, the heart erupting deep inside of me and I have to try and ignore the ache that I feel between my legs as my cock hardens.

“Did you want to come in?” she asks and I don’t miss the rasp in her voice, the way her cheeks have flamed a beautiful pink and I can’t help but wonder if the rest of her skin will glow to that perfection.

“I would love to… but…”

“Oh, of course… yeah, no, it’s fine,” she shakes her head from side to side, her wavy red hair is pulled from her face and I can’t help but fixate on every piece of her face, as if memorizing every single detail.

I snap out of it and guilt consumes me. Sliding the suitcase forward, her eyes drop from mine and to the suitcase.

“Just so I am clear…” she pauses, licking her lips, her beautiful eyes still firmly on the case. “You want me to get in there…” and finally, after what feels like a lifetime, her eyes are back on mine, and I feel whole again.

“Yes.”

And that’s when a laugh bubbles out of her, she covers her mouth with her small hand, and I let out a small scoff of a laugh.

“I thought you were joking about dragging me out in a suitcase,” she says through her laughter, her eyes filling with tears.

“Amora, how am I meant to get you out with your father’s security cameras?”

And suddenly, her laugh stops, her eyes widen, and her breath stutters from her continuous laughter only moments ago.

“Oh,” she whispers, stepping further back and sitting on the end of her bed.

Inhaling heavily, I step across the threshold to her room and close the gap between us enjoying the crackle of the air that is so prominent.

I kneel in front of her, covering her hands with mine.

“I need you out of here, I need you with me, so I know you’re safe. I can’t do that if I am a thousand miles away from you in America, while you are wherever your father is sending you. If I have to take you out in a suitcase, then I will take you out in a suitcase,” my voice is loud and stern, but I don’t mean it to be.

She says nothing, she rubs her lips together and lets her eyes fall from mine. I don’t miss the deep intake of breath she takes, her bottom lip quivering ever so slightly.

“If I could get you out any other way I would… this was not my first choice.”

“What was your first choice?” she asks.

“Walking you straight out the front door,” I smirk, rubbing my thumbs over the back of her hands.

“I think I prefer that option.”

“So do I, but I have to ensure you get out without causing suspicion.”

She nods.

“What happens when they realize I am gone?”

“They’ll come searching, but trust me, I won’t make it easy for them.”

“Okay,” she whispers.

“Okay,” I give her a crooked smile, keeping my gaze pinned on her the whole time. Standing slowly, her hands are still in mine. Bending, I place a kiss on her forehead and linger for a moment longer.

“I’ll see you at midnight.”

“I’ll see you at midnight,” she repeats, and I finally let go before turning on my heel and walking away.
