“Me!” he shouts, “I said you will go with me!”

I flinch and instantly regret it and I see the wicked grin spread on his face.

“I am going to destroy you, and trust me little monster, I am going to love every minute of it.”

“Why are you calling me little monster in English now? Ashamed that I caught you out,” I smirk at him and he balls his hands by his side. He comes for me, but I lean forward and spit in his face. He growls, his hand darting forward as he grabs another fistful of hair and literally drags me from the bed and pain radiates through me as my body hits the floor.

“Get off me!” I scream, my hands flying to where his grip is but all that does is make him tighten it.

“Not a fucking chance,” his voice echoes as he pulls me to my feet and drags me along behind him and I am careful not to trip over my own feet.

My heart booms in my chest, each beat feeling heavier and faster and sickness rolls in my stomach at what he may do. Is he going to hurt my baby?

I try and ignore the thoughts as a cold sweat blankets me and I trip, my knees hitting the ground as I cry out.

He doesn’t stop. Just continues dragging me along the hard, wooden floor.

And then I realise. I know where he is taking me.

Standing outside Titus’ room, I hear a loud crash as he kicks the door down and it smashes against the wall.

“What the fuck?!” Titus growls, his feet hitting the floor with a thud. Wolfe pulls me up on my feet by the root of my hair and throws me back to the floor, my chest hitting before my face. “Fuck,” Titus runs over, scooping me up and cupping my face as his eyes search to make sure I am okay. “Are you okay?” I can hear the panic in his voice and all I can do is nod, because if I speak, he will know I am lying.

“I have no idea what you two are fucking playing at but it’s taking everything in me not to put a bullet through both of your heads,” Wolfe’s tone is vicious, and Titus lifts his gaze from mine before he pushes me behind him, so I am protected.

“I think you must be dumb,” Titus’ voice is shaky, and I know it’s because of the rage that is no doubt bubbling inside of him.

“And why is that?” Wolfe stands with his arms crossed.

“I have asked repeatedly for you not to touch her, and so has her father.” Titus stands.

“And I was promised a virgin and it seems I have been given a whore,” he spits, glaring in my direction and I cower down. “Looks like no one here is good at keeping their promises, hm?” his tone is condescending. “Especially you, dear Titus who has not only fucked my wife to be but has also got her pregnant… but don’t worry.” Wolfe smirks, “I will be taking care of that as soon as we’re married by ripping it out of her.”

Titus runs for him, grabbing him round the throat and smashing his back against the wall before he lands a fist to his jaw, the crack loud and bouncing off the walls before Titus puts another on his lip.

Wolfe does nothing, just stands grinning as blood coats his teeth, Titus panting in harsh inhales.

“I knew you would snap, just proves to me how good her little cunt must be to have you throwing fists around.”

“Shut the fuck up,” Titus slams him into the wall once more.

“I can’t wait to see what she feels like,” Wolfe continues, and I stand on trembling legs as I begin to walk towards where Titus and Wolfe are.

Titus won’t stop until he kills him.

I squeeze myself between them and stand in front of Wolfe.

“Enough,” I whisper to Titus as his wild, dark eyes leave Wolfe and settle on mine. I repeat my words again trying to get him to snap from whatever trance he is in. Placing my hands on his bare chest, I suck in a breath as I close my eyes relishing in the feelings that are tingling through my fingers.

I gently push him back, but he doesn’t move.

I try again and when I finally open my eyes his crystal blues have softened. The storm that was once thundering in the windows of his soul has gone. Relief swarms me and I push him again, this time, he steps back.

Wolfe lets out a low chuckle, wiping the blood from his lip then spitting at my feet before looking at his watch.

“Oh look, it’s just gone midnight… three days little monster,” and a shiver dances up my spine before he walks out the room. Once I know he was gone, I throw myself into Titus and sob uncontrollably why he holds me.

Everything I loved is slowly being ripped from me and there is nothing I can do about it.
