When the Assistant glanced over Emily’s shoulder at me, her brow creased with concern, I wondered what exactly it was that she was worried about.
Then she nodded her head too and was gone.
Emily looked after her for a little while before she shut the door.
Then she slowly turned around and approached me, standing before me in all her glory.
Now, we were alone.
And as annoying as I found the Assistant to be, as crowded as the suite had felt with her unnecessary presence within it, I couldn’t help but now wish she was there with us just a little longer.
I wanted to do unspeakable things to this female and I wasn’t sure how to do so in a calm and effective way.
And if I acted on my baser instincts and tore her clothes off and immediately took her right then and there, what would she say?

EMILY
Take me.
Take me.
Take me.
My shyness and lack of confidence had quickly melted when I heard Yaltah’s response to the suggestion that I could be replaced.
He had snapped at her — actually snapped!
It had surprised the Assistant as much as it had me.
That was the reason she had taken me aside at the door and asked if I was sure about doing this — that a Krev Steyatt was not something to be taken lightly.
“I’m sure,” I had told her, looking over my shoulder to see if I could identify any dangerous traits that might hold me back.
I saw none.
Then the Assistant glanced over my shoulder, leaned forward, and whispered one more warning in my ear:
“Are you sure you can… handle him?”
I almost burst out laughing.
What was so funny was that she had voiced the same concern that had run through my mind ever since I noticed the huge throbbing sausage in the front of his pants, like a monster begging to be set loose.
There was only one thing it wanted…
And I couldn’t help but blush at the thought of that.
“Yes,” I told her, surprised that her icy Management veneer had peeled back long enough for her to show true concern.
I was touched.
But she needn’t have been worried.
I was a big girl and could take care of myself.
The Assistant nodded, whispered, “Good luck,” and left.
