"I know that's not true," I said through gritted teeth.
I looked at Lily, but she refused to meet my gaze. Instead, she just continued to hang off of Scissors' shoulders.
"And you, dear?" Paper said. "Is this what you want?"
She nodded her head. "Totally."
"School year's gonna be rad," Scissors said.
My eyes widened. "She doesn't go to our school, numbnuts."
"Oo, good one," Scissors said with a smirk. "And, wrong as per uush," he said, shortening his words in an irritating way. "Dad's got her in on a scholarship."
"How's she supposed to get to school when she lives on the other side of the river?" I asked.
Scissors gave me a look of pure delight. "She doesn't live on the other side of the river anymore," he said, wrapping his slimy hands around her ass. "She lives right here, on my lap."
He bounced her up and down a little, and I damn near lost it, but Paper jumped in before I could say anything.
"So, Lily is living with you here then for the remainder of the year?"
"Yeah, that's right," Scissors said, wagging his eyebrows at her. "I doubt we're gonna get much done, but it's gonna be fun."
She laughed, laughed, at the slimy thing he said.
I turned to look at Paper. "You can't seriously be letting this happen?"
He gave me a confused look. "Let what happen? I don't see a problem with any of this."
I made my way over to the wall and put a fucking hole in it before opening the door and slamming it behind me. They could all go to fucking hell as far as I was concerned.
I made my way down the stairs, intent on getting the fuck out of this place, until I realized I had absolutely no ride. I'd come here with Paper.
I looked around to see if I could bum one from someone, but I literally hated everyone here, and they all hated me.
Except for one person.
Oh, I hated her, that was for sure, but I wasn't exactly sure on what her feelings were towards me. She was sitting next to her friend, neither of them talking to one another, both of them just texting on their phones.
"Hey Kitty," I said.
She looked up and her eyes widened. She put her phone down and stood, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "Hey Rock," she replied, biting her lip and trying her hardest to appear sensual.
"Wanna get out of here?" I asked her.
She looked a little stunned. I mean, I got it. Every time she'd approached me, I'd turned her down, and not always in a nice way. She had to be a little skeptical of what this was.
"I mean, yeah," she said. "But why?"
I shrugged. "This party blows. I think you and I could have more fun elsewhere." I leaned in close to her. "I know you've been fucking dying for it," I whispered.
She blushed, but nodded her head. "Yeah, okay. Let's go."
Her friend finally realized what was going on. "Wait, Kitty!" she exclaimed. "How am I supposed to get a ride home?"
Kitty shrugged. "I dunno. Ask Colin for a ride."
Her friend rolled her eyes. "Ugh, he always wants something from me in exchange."
