I didn't deny him, as I made sure anyone in earshot could hear me.
"Good girl." He flicked the tip of his tongue over my swollen vulva. A finger dove into me and curled up into my G-spot, drawing my hips off the bed as a loud scream of pleasure ripped through me. "Tell me I'm the best."
"Mmmm," I hummed. He paused, and his words sunk in. He was looking for an answer and wouldn't continue until I agreed. It wasn't hard. Right now, at this very moment, he was the best. If they wanted to compete to see who could give me the most pleasure, I was sure I would die a very happy woman. "You're the best."
"Scream it," he urged me, his breath coming in hard pants as he held himself back.
"You're the best!" I shouted, my words echoing back off the walls. "Now fuck me, damn it." I gripped his hair as I tugged him roughly up. He covered me with his weight, and I moaned into his mouth as he covered my lips with his.
"So demanding," he said, a smile in his voice as he freed himself from his pants and briefs. Then his hot length settled at the entrance of my pussy.
"Tell me I'm the best, Rai," I breathed.
"Sammy, you are the only one for me. The best I have ever had and the best I ever will. You are mine, and I am yours, heart and soul, forever." He plunged into me, punctuating his last words. "I love you."
"I love you too," I whispered. A telltale wetness had gathered at the corner of my eyes, and he kissed it away. Then he was relentless, as he made sure the entire building knew that he took me to the edge of pleasure and drowned me in it.
My body was loose and tension free, ready to face whatever we had to when we emerged from the bedroom to knowing and hungry looks. I could get used to this. It only lasted a few minutes before a portal opened, and Brook stepped through, followed by Lumi. She glanced between us and then back to Lumi.
"I guess we need to figure out how to knock with this thing, because arriving in the middle of an orgy would have been super uncomfortable." Brook shifted on her heels. "Really glad that didn't happen this time."
Lumi laughed and wrapped his arm around her, tucking her small frame into his side. "Right, because my innocent Queen would have been shocked?" He lifted an eyebrow at her when she glanced up, turning a slight shade of pink.
"Uh, right, so, I think I figured out how to find the muse," Brook blurted, ignoring his question. "This book mentioned something about just calling them to you. We have to invoke her."
"But if she is trapped—" I said.
"It would still lead us to her. The call is like magic. It will create a path." The excitement in her voice was contagious.
"If it was that easy, wouldn't Apollo have tried it?" Lex asked.
"He technically wouldn't be able to invoke a muse since he created them," Alastor replied.
"Why wouldn't he tell us about it?" I asked, picking up Lex's train of thought.
Lumi moved over to the side of the sofa and leaned against it. "Gods are naturally greedy," he said, crossing his arms. "No offense." His attention landed on Alastor, who shrugged.
"None taken."
"Apollo wouldn't have wanted to tell you. Hermes has said his uncle likes control," Brook added. "But now that we know, if we all invoke her, she will answer."
The elevator announced my brother. Rai had texted him to let him know it was safe to return. I glanced down at my phone. There still wasn't an answer from Bellamy, and I had sent it at least ten minutes ago. Concern filtered through my tension free body. What if he was in trouble? I know he said he could flip sides without a moment's notice, but I didn't believe that for a second, so without him answering me, something was wrong.
"Bell has been gone a long time," I said. "And he isn't answering the texts. I think we should find him first. We might need him."
"I knew I'd come in handy," Lumi said. He pulled a pendulum from his pocket and moved over to the maps still on the counter. "Do you have anything of his?"
We glanced around at each other before Alastor nodded his head. "Yeah, when he was recovering, I was afraid he would run. So I snipped a few strands of hair to track him. He wasn't in a condition to be alone."
He disappeared into the bedroom, and silence fell between us before he returned with a single strand of white hair. He handed it off to Lumi, and he dropped it into a liquid he pulled from his pocket. The tracker didn't take long before it zeroed in on the warehouse the demons had taken over. My heart dropped. Was I wrong? There was only one way to find out.
"We need to go get him," I said as I ensured my weapons hadn't fallen off when my pants had been dropped to the floor.
"What if he—?" Raiden asked, not finishing the sentence.
"He didn't. He's in trouble and needs us." At least I hoped I was telling the truth. None of them questioned me as we prepared to go, and none of them protested our lack of plan. I guess Alastor and Lex were feeling the same. Was it our bond driving us?
We climbed into Lex's SUV, and he turned out of the parking garage for the industrial district. Brook and Lumi had climbed in the very back, and I was in the front with Ty, Raiden, and Alastor in the middle row, Lex behind the wheel. He stopped in the same place we had last time. A thread of magic seemed to lead to the warehouse, and I wasn't sure if we created it from Lumi's tracking or something else.
