“Dustin!” Jamie called. “Get your ass in gear!”

“Gotta go.” With a groan, Dustin shifted, tumbling them onto their sides on the bed as he tried to extricate himself from Charlie’s surprisingly strong grip.

He managed to stand but Charlie grabbed the front of his sweatshirt and hauled him in until their noses touched. “Just one more.”

“You’re insatiable.” Dustin braced himself on the bed to keep from tipping over. “Not that I’m complaining.”

“You didn’t fuck me last night,” he said with a pout. “I’m feeling needy.”

“I don’t have sex with people who are on the verge of passing out. Even if I am married to them.”

“Did I ever tell you your thoughtfulness makes me horny?”

“You did.” Dustin kissed him one last time. “And I’m delighted. But hold that thought. I promise I’ll take care of you tonight after we beat the Otters.”

Charlie batted his eyelashes. “Maybe I’ll take care of myself before then.”

“Please do,” Dustin said hoarsely. “And feel free to send me pictures and/or video.”

“I don’t think Kate would approve.” But Charlie’s eyes sparkled.

“She’s dealt with worse. Seriously though, I’ve gotta go. I promise I’ll score a goal for you, then give you the best orgasm you’ve ever had tonight.”

“Only one?”

Dustin wasn’t entirely sure if he was talking about goals or orgasms. “You’re greedy but I’ll see what I can do. One orgasm for each goal, I promise.”

“Just greedy for you.”

Dustin pressed a kiss to Charlie’s lips, then finally extricated himself from Charlie’s grasp. “I can live with that.”

“Well, look what the cat dragged in,” Dustin said as he spotted the red-haired former goaltender lounging against the wall next to the visitors’ locker room. “What are you doing here, Boucher?”

Noah grinned. “Good to see you too, Fowler.”

They hugged and Dustin stepped back, studying him in his three-piece suit. “Seriously, what are you doing here?”

He shrugged. “I was asked to say a few words at the retirement ceremony tonight.”

“Oh nice. Hard to believe they’re retiring Lindholm, Murphy, and Hartinger’s numbers.”

“Tell me about it. Of course, I still can’t believe my jersey’s hanging in the rafters in Toronto’s barn either.”

“It’s like we’re getting old or something,” Dustin said with a grin.

Although he didn’t feel old. He still felt like he had quite a few miles on the ice left in him.

“Yeah, I heard you got married in Vegas last summer. Congratulations! I like Charlie. He’s a spitfire, eh?”

“Such a spitfire,” Dustin said with a laugh. “But we’re happy.”

“Glad to hear it. Oh, and congratulations on the code of conduct passing! I was starting to get worried there.”

“Ugh, tell me about it.” Dustin leaned against the wall with a sigh. “I was starting to think it would never happen.”

“I’m glad you fought so hard for it. It’s important.”
