“Harry—”

“I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry for being such an asshole to you about the pregnancy. You never deserved that, especially from me—”

“So, what? All of a sudden you’re okay with the idea of having a kid together?”

“I’m okay with the idea of having a kid with you. That’s what I’m trying to say. I’m okay with the idea of doing anything with you, Simone, as long as we’re doing it together.”

Harry closed the space between us, his face inches away from mine. “I just want to be with you, Simone. That’s it. Just tell me what I need to do and I’ll make it happen. As long as I get to be with you.”

“And you don’t think I’m a gold digger?”

“Not at all. That was just me being a fucking idiot. I was terrified of everything, so I was just… making up monsters. Like a kid making up monsters under the bed.” He laughed at his own response. “Shit. That sounded so much better in my head.”

“Yep. Sort of sounded like you were calling me a monster.” I laughed now, too. “Not the greatest thing to say when you’re going for an apology, to be honest.”

“Want me to try again?”

“Nope. I prefer the real thing.” I beamed back at him. “And I love you, too, by the way.”

Harry let out a sigh of relief. “Thank God. All of this would’ve been so awkward if you didn’t—”

I interrupted what he was saying with an eager kiss, finally closing the distance between us. He returned the kiss with just as much excitement, his tongue soon slipping between my lips. We reached for each other then, my arms wrapping around him and his arms wrapping around me.

“Fuck, baby. I missed you. I missed you so fucking much,” he murmured as his mouth moved down toward my neck. “I love you so much, Simone.”

He moved down toward the ground, his knees soon resting against the floor.

“Harry, wait!” Fear flooded through me at the thought of him going down on me with our families in the next room. “Don’t—”

“Simone Didier, will you marry me? For real this time.”

“Oh. Oh my God!” I now saw the diamond ring glistening inside of the ring box that Harry had just pulled out of his pocket. “Yes! Of course, I’ll marry you! A million times yes!”

Harry grinned as he stood back up. He slid the ring onto my finger, then kissed me again.

“Did you really think I was going to go down on you? With everyone waiting for us out there?”

“No,” I lied, before quickly admitting the truth. “Yes.”

“Yeah. That’s what I thought.” Harry laughed. “Does this mean I can move back home? Now with the whole getting engaged thing?”

“Duh.” I smirked. “If you didn’t move back home, I’d move your stuff back in myself.”

“Did he already apologize? Did Simone take him back?” I suddenly heard Taylor’s voice from the other room. “Shit! I can’t believe I got caught in traffic!”

“Want to go show off your ring?” Harry asked as he sweetly took me by the hand. “It sounds like people are getting restless.”

“I think we should.” I happily followed behind him as we made our way back into the coffee shop’s main lobby.

As we made our way into the world for the first time as something real.

“Harry…” I bit my bottom lip as Harry lowered his head between my thighs. My dress was hiked up to my knees, and I was sitting on the edge of Harry’s bed back at our house. It’d only been a few minutes since we’d made it through the front door, but it seemed like Harry just couldn’t wait.

“Harry!” I groaned out his name as he dragged his tongue across my still-clothed clit, his mouth against my panties. He placed his hands on either side of my thighs, keeping my legs spread for him as he continued to tease me through the fabric. I whimpered, slightly embarrassed at how wet I was getting for him, even though he hadn’t even touched my bare skin just yet.

But I couldn’t help it. I wanted him just as much as he wanted me.
