Aella nodded her agreement.

The lean black haired vampire grimaced. “Gods, no.”

Aella bit her lip not to laugh at the mismatch of the affection in the vampire’s black eyes and his faux disgusted expression.

The redheaded werewolf wrapped an arm around the vampire and kissed his cheek soundly. “I’ll give ya some luv if ya want, mate.”

“Unhand me, you brute,” the goth protested.

Luna and Ethan had stopped kissing and were giving indulgent looks at their friends.

Luna waved a hand at the pink-haired fey. “Aella, this is Dandelion.”

Dandelion winked at Aella. “Hey, gorgeous.”

“Uh, hi,” Aella said.

Luna chuckled, giving Aella a conspiratorial smile. “She’s a terrible flirt, as you can see.” She pointed at the huge werewolf, and then the lean, pale vampire. “And these are Mike and Crow.”

“Hullo, lass,” said Mike.

Aella smiled. “Hello.”

Crow tilted his head and looked at Aella as if she were very odd indeed.

Ethan sighed. “For the umpteenth time, staring is rude, Crow.”

“I’m not staring,” Crow said, staring.

“Crow has no manners, I’m afraid,” Dandelion said.

Ethan huffed. “None of you do.”

“Oi!” Mike protested. “I’ve got plenty of manners.”

Luna chuckled.

“Shall we go home?” Ethan asked Luna.

She nodded. “Yes, please.”

He smiled at her, then met Aella’s gaze. “Thank you for taking care of my Luna, Aella.”

Aella smiled. “My pleasure.”

Luna fished inside Ethan’s jacket pocket, finding a card with an ‘aha!’ She approached Aella and handed it to her. “Come by my shop, it’s at the mall downtown. I’ll give you a special discount.”

The card of Luna’s Creations was black with a pink-silver drawing of a Greek muse.

“I will, thank you,” Aella said.

Luna beamed at Aella. Ethan offered her his hand, and they left the room.

Mike gave a friendly slap to Aella’s shoulder. “See ya, lass.”

“See ya,” Aella said.

He followed Luna and Ethan out.
