“No.” Edward looked away.

I giggled. “Do worry. I only have eyes for you. I was laughing because we were talking about mates, and Talon had said he didn’t realize how much drama there was in finding your mate. And I laughed because it was true.”

Edward looked back at me. “It is true. Things haven’t been easy…. and with your family.”

I reached over and grabbed his hand. “Hey, we’ll cross that bridge when it comes.”

“Together?”

I smiled. “Together.”

“Alright then. Are you ready for more skating? I think these old bones have more in them.”

I laughed. “Okay. Let’s do this. Old man.”

We laughed together as we headed back onto the ice. Yeah, we’ll meet everything together. It scared the crap out of me, but with Edward there, I’d be alright.
