“Beautiful wedding, cousin,” Simon said.

“I actually think I like it better than the Crystal Ballroom,” Sam said.

“It’s great, but a lot of work setting up.” Stefan smirked. “Not to mention the taking down of everything.”

“That’s why we have workers, bro,” Sam patted his back. “By the time you two get back from your honeymoon, you’ll never know a wedding took place here.”

“But the memory will always be etched in my mind.” I smiled.

The DJ played some great music, and we all went to the dancefloor and danced like crazy, partying until it was time for Christian and me to leave.

“Your car is here and loaded with your luggage,” Shaun told us. “And my pilot has the plane ready.”

“Thank you, Shaun.” I hugged and kissed him.

“Thanks, cousin.” Christian hugged him.

I said goodbye to my parents and thanked them for everything they’d done for us. Turning to my sisters, I smiled as I hugged them goodbye.

“We’re going to miss you guys,” Julia said as she hugged me.

“You better Facetime us every day.” Charlotte hugged me.

“Yes, and we don’t care what time it is.” Sofia hugged me.

“Have a safe flight.” Georgia hugged me.

I hugged and kissed the rest of the girls. “Thank you, my sisters, for all of your help in making our wedding day so perfect.” I smiled.

“We wouldn’t have it any other way.” A smile crossed Grace’s face.

“And you.” I grabbed hold of Jenni’s hands. “Thank you for the beautiful wedding dress and the bridesmaid’s dresses. I am so honored to be wearing a Simply Jenni design.” I hugged her again.

“You know I got your back, babe.” She winked.

“Hey, Jenni.” Christian pulled her over to the side. “How’s the house?” A smirk crossed his lips.

“Trust me. I had a cleaning crew come in during the wedding. Don’t tell Shaun, though. I know he’s stressing out because he thinks he’s going to go home to a disaster.” She laughed.

CHAPTER30

Christian

I carried my wife on the plane and straight into the bedroom.

“I’ll be right back.” I kissed her lips. “Do not touch that dress.” I smiled.

I left the room and found Kiara, our flight attendant.

“Hello, Dr. Kind.” She smiled. “Congratulations to you and Mrs. Kind. There’s a bottle of champagne and a tray of chocolate-covered strawberries in the bedroom.”

“Thank you, Kiara. Mrs. Kind and I will be spending the rest of the night in the bedroom.”

“Very well. If there’s anything you need, just let me know.”

“I will. Thank you.”

I returned to the bedroom and saw Charleigh sitting on the bed with a strawberry hanging out of her mouth.
