“Where are we going?”

“To design our new wedding invitations, silly.”

CHAPTER23

Charleigh

Christian and I spent a couple of hours designing our new invitations, asking everyone to join us on our beach for a beach wedding. We also typed up a little note explaining what happened and why we had to change locations to stick inside the envelope with the invitation.

“It looks perfect.” I smiled.

“It’s beautiful. Print it out, and I’ll take it to Calvin in the morning. Same color paper as the last invitation?”

“Yeah. That’s fine.”

“Okay.” Christian kissed my forehead. “Let’s go to bed.”

“But I’m not tired. I pretty much slept all day.”

“Who said anything about sleep?” A smirk crossed his sexy face.

The following morning, Sam stepped in through the sliding door as I was making a cup of coffee.

“Morning.” He smiled as he walked over and kissed my cheek.

“Good morning.”

“I brought the design over for your beach wedding.” He grinned. “I just need you and Christian to approve it so we can start the planning and get the crews together.”

“Christian got called in early this morning to check on a patient, but he said whatever I like, he approves. Coffee?”

“That would be great. Thanks, Charleigh.”

The sliding door opened, and Conner walked in, holding Isabella.

“Morning, fam. I saw Sammy walking over, so my princess and I decided to come over and see what he came up with.”

I made Sam’s coffee and set it on the table.

“Give that sweet baby to me.” I smiled as I took her from Conner’s arms. “If you want coffee, go make yourself a cup.” I smirked.

“Ah, I see how it is.” His brow arched.

Sam spread the design across the table and went over it with me.

“This whole area will be for the reception. Stefan’s crew will build flooring covering the entire space. Over here is the dancefloor and a stage for the DJ. Over in this area will be a table for your wedding cake. We figured we’d sit ten at a table and have thirty tables, giving us more than enough room. Right here is where the bridal table will be, and over here is where the bar will be.”

“What’s this section right here?” I pointed.

“That’s where the food will be. It’s easier to have a buffet style if that’s okay with you.”

“That’s totally fine with me.” I smiled. “And this?” I pointed.

“That’s the dessert table.”

“What about appetizers?” I asked.

“Sebastian’s staff will walk around with those and offer them to your guests.”
