“For once, that woman has her shit together,” Simon spoke. “I just hope she doesn’t screw it up again.”
We all laughed.
“Did you and Charleigh get the whole baby situation straightened out?” Jackson asked.
“I told her that I’m good either way. With or without kids. She’s terrified if she got pregnant, the baby would inherit her heart condition.”
“If that were to happen, that kid has the best doctor dad in the world.” Conner smiled.
“You would get her the best team of doctors to monitor her and her pregnancy,” Jackson said.
“I know, but I need to respect her decision. I love her, and if she doesn’t feel safe to have a baby, I will stand by her.”
“We all will, bro.” Nathan placed his hand on my shoulder.
“Speaking of babies, Nate,” Conner said. “Why the hell did you impregnate your wife when you knew her surgery was coming up?”
“Because he’s a Kind,” Simon said. “You know damn well nothing keeps our strong sperm away.” He grinned. “Look at Sammy.”
“Did I hear something about sperm?” Grayson shouted as he and Gabriel walked over to us.
“What the fuck!” Simon stood up. “What are you two doing here?” He hugged them.
“We wanted to surprise you. We’re here to stay,” Gabriel said.
“What?” I asked.
“The houses will be done soon, and we couldn’t wait any longer. So, who’s putting us up?” Grayson grinned.
“You two can stay with Charleigh and me.” The corners of my mouth curved upward.
“Or with us,” Jackson spoke.
“Any of us would love to have you,” Sam said.
“If you’re smart, you’ll stay with the ones who don’t have kids running around.” Simon smirked.
“In that case, if you and Charleigh don’t mind, Christian,” Grayson said.
“And if you and Georgia don’t mind, Jackson,” Gabriel said.
“Not at all.” I grinned. “We’d love to have you stay with us.”
“Us too.” Jackson smiled.
“Maybe you two should clear it with your ladies first,” Gabriel said.
“Nah. They won’t mind at all. Right, bro?” I glanced at Jackson.
“Nope. Not at all.” He grinned.
“Here comes Charleigh now,” I said.
“Oh, my God. Grayson. Gabriel. What are you two doing here?” Charleigh walked over and hugged them.
“It’s good to see you again, Charleigh.” They both smiled.
“Excellent news, babe. Our cousins are here for good.”
