“Noah’s welcome home party, bro.” Simon grinned as he patted his back.

“Oh, my gosh. The swing is built.” Emilia smiled.

“Compliments of me,” Sam said.

“Shut up, douchebag.” Stefan slapped his back. “I built the swing, Emilia. Don’t listen to him.”

“I supervised.” Sam smiled.

We all took turns admiring Noah, who slept peacefully in his car seat.

“We saved the best surprise for last.” Charleigh grinned as she grabbed Emilia’s and Sebastian’s hands and led them up the stairs to the nursery.

We all followed behind, and when Emilia opened the door, she stepped inside and started crying.

“We bought you everything you need,” Georgia spoke.

“And this!” Jenni grinned as she opened the closet. It was filled with baby clothes and packs of diapers stacked from the floor to the top shelf.

“And don’t forget these,” Alex said as she opened each drawer in the dresser, and they were filled with everything baby.

“You guys painted the nursery for us?” Sebastian asked.

“Yeah, bro. We did.” Simon hooked his arm around him. “We wanted everything to be perfect for when you brought Noah home.”

“Hello?” We heard Aunt Barb’s voice coming from downstairs.

Leaving the nursery, we headed back down.

“Hi, Aunt Barb.” I smiled as I kissed her cheek.

“Hello, Christian.”

“Curtis.” I extended my hand. “Good to see you.”

“Good to see you, Christian.”

After we ate, my brothers, cousins, and I went down to the beach and lit the firepit.

“Emilia and I can’t thank you enough for what you did for us,” Sebastian said.

“You’re welcome, bro. You would do the same for us,” Sam said.

“Well, it’s official,” Simon spoke. “Grace is officially no longer my partner.”

“You okay?” I asked him as I brought the beer bottle to my lips.

“Yes and no. I’m happy I don’t have to worry about Nora, but I’m going to miss being with Grace all day.”

“Any word on who your new partner is going to be?” Conner asked.

“Not yet.” He sighed.

I glanced over and saw Aunt Barb and Curtis standing on the patio, holding hands and talking.

“Aunt Barb looks happy these days.” I smirked.

“It’s weird that Curtis is back in the picture,” Stefan said.
