“Good day, fam.” I smiled. “What’s up?”
Nora ran over to me and held her arms up.
“Hey, sweetheart.” I set my beer down and picked her up.
“I got a call from the lawyer today as I was driving up here,” Simon said. “Our court date has been set for next Friday at nine a.m.”
“That’s great. Are you all going to be there?” I asked my cousins.
“Yes. We’ll all be standing up with our brother,” Shaun said.
“Where are the twins?” I asked Shaun.
“Sleeping upstairs.” He grabbed the baby monitor and held it up. “They fell asleep on the way up here.
My phone pinged, and when I pulled it from my pocket, I had a text message from Charleigh.
“We’ll be at the cabin in ten minutes. I can’t wait to see you.”
“Same, babe. I’ve missed you so much.”
That was Charleigh. She said they’re ten minutes away.”
“Do you think we’re forgiven now for the motorcycles?” Stefan asked.
“I hope so.” Simon shook his head. “This single dad thing is hard. It’s a good thing Grace and I took a personal leave until this situation with Nora is resolved.”
“Oh, really?” Stefan cocked his head at him.
“Bro, you had Nanny Kate,” Simon said.
“Not for a long time. Do you not remember what it was like at the beginning?”
“Yeah, yeah. I remember.” Simon flung a bottle cap at him, and I laughed.
“Let’s go out front and wait for the girls,” I said as I opened the sliding door.

I can’t wait to see my man,” I said to the girls.
“I can’t either. I miss Shaun and my babies so much. As much fun as we all had, I hated doing it,” Jenni said.
“Well, they had to learn a lesson, right?” Julia said.
“I agree,” Charlotte spoke. “Conner begged me to come home every night I spoke to him.” She laughed.
“You are in so much trouble when that baby comes.” Grace laughed.
“I know.” Charlotte sighed.
“I can’t wait to see Dad,” Ella said. “I missed him and Nicholas so much.”
“Me too, sweetheart.” Sofia kissed the top of her head.
When the van pulled up the driveway to the cabin, all the guys were standing outside waiting for us. The second the driver put it in park, I opened the door, jumped out, and jumped into Christian’s arms.
