“Come here, my sisters.” Charleigh walked over to the girls. “I do agree that they should have told you about the bikes instead of just springing it on you. But look at them. Just put all your anger aside and look at your men on those motorcycles. They all look so sexy.”
“I don’t care,” Emilia said.
“Listen, I know your reaction is based on fear. But trust me, you'll understand once you go for a ride with them. There’s nothing like being on the back of a motorcycle with the love of your life, the open road, and the exhilarating feeling you get as your arms are wrapped tightly around them.”
They all stared at her like she was crazy.
“Ella, get off that bike and get in the house,” Sofia said.
“Told you she would be mad,” Ella said to Nathan as she climbed off the bike.
“Lily, that goes for you too,” Alex said.
“Guess I no longer have a father.” She sighed as she climbed off.
All the girls turned around and headed back to their houses without saying a word.
“Shall we go for one more ride before we’re all dead?” Shaun asked.
“What on earth is going on here?” Aunt Barb walked up the driveway. “You boys bought motorcycles?”
“We sure did, Mom. What do you think?” Stefan smiled.
“I’m not a fan, but you all look handsome on them. Just be careful, please.”
“We will, Mom,” Sebastian asked.
“Can you go talk to the girls for us?” Sam asked. “We’re all in serious trouble right now.”
“Why? You didn’t tell them you were buying them?” Aunt Barb asked.
“No,” Simon said. “They actually forbad it when we talked about it.”
“Mom, we need you,” Stefan said. “Please, help us.”
“Fine. I’ll go talk to them now. But what you did was wrong, and I hate to say this, but you’re behaving like your father. You all know better than that.”
“Okay, Mom. We get your point,” Simon said. “Come on, fam. Let’s go for a ride and let the girls cool off.”
CHAPTER6
Christian
“I’m heading down to the beach, babe.” I wrapped my arms around Charleigh as she brushed her long, beautiful hair.
“Okay. I’ve been summoned to Julia’s house.”
I chuckled. “I’m sure the guys have been severely reprimanded.”
“You’ll find out when you get to the bonfire. I’ll see you later.” She turned and kissed my lips.
“You definitely will.”
I walked downstairs, grabbed a couple of beers from the fridge, my guitar, and headed down to the beach.
“How bad was it?” I sat down next to Jackson.
“Julia wouldn’t talk to me for hours, and she kept slamming things,” Sam said.
