John waves dismissively.
Tony studies me for a second before continuing. “And now you’ve stolen my IT guys. I hope someday I’ll be a lucky enough man to end up with a woman like you.”
The flattery is nice, but there’s unfinished business. We wrap up the legal details as the lawyer explains that they’re dropping the case.
I stand, for the first time ever, displaying my confidence in the room full of men I once thought were out to crush me.
“Come on boys.”
I walk out of the room, my spine straight, my heels clicking on the floor. Safely inside the elevator with Kyle and Lance, I say. “Time to celebrate. Get me home and get some dicks inside of me.”
Lance scoots behind me and presses his erection into my ass. “Good thing we like the way you use us.”
“Keep it zipped, at least until we get to the car,” Kyle groans.
“I’m pretty hard. I’d rather pull the emergency stop button.”
“And let some guy in the security room see Penny’s gorgeous orgasm face, not a chance.”

LANCE
Two months later
I return from a morning jog, a habit I’ve resurrected since Penny’s cooking has me carrying more weight than I like to. I can’t stop eating her sweet treats.
The exercise is also good for clearing my mind when Penny and Kyle get their scheduled time alone with each other. We’ve realized that it helps us all grow stronger to have time without the third person, and also time completely alone.
I revolted hard against that at first but I’ve come to appreciate it—the time alone with Penny. The time alone with myself isn’t nearly as important to me, but it does give me time to jog instead of staying by her side like the lovesick puppy I am.
It’s also a healthy reminder to do something I enjoy just for myself. Although, I like the way Penny looks at my abs and my ass and every other muscled part of me, so it’s still partly for her if I’m being honest.
Kyle had insisted on a rule that alone time stays private, something about respecting each person’s space and mental health, and since he doesn’t ask for much, we agreed.
Entering the house, I purposefully wait until I’m in the office where Penny and Kyle are hovered around the computer screen before I strip off my shirt.
Penny’s tongue swipes over her lower lip exactly as I’d hoped.
“Anyone want to take a shower?”
Penny’s eyes light up and she starts to push away but Kyle says, “Hold on a second. I’ve almost got her site up and running.”
She turns her attention back to the screen, her eyes darting back at me a couple of times as Kyle types. Then he sits back, extending his arms overhead triumphantly, before dropping one of them around Penny.
“Congratulations, Penny. Your website is live and functional.”
What? Did I hear him right? He didn’t tell me he was working on that. Every possessive fiber of my being is on high alert. I step closer, turning the screen toward myself.
“Wait, I get to see it first,” Penny says, and places her hands on either side of the laptop, shifting it away from me. “It’s beautiful. And I love the calendar feature. This looks so easy for people to book a date.”
“Not a chance.” I growl and unplug the power cord from the laptop, lifting it off the desk, clicking away as I carry it out of the room.
“What are you doing?”
Kyle’s laughing and by the sound of the footsteps, Penny’s chasing after me.
“I’m booking the rest of our stay.”
