This is very public.
My mouth feels dry and my tummy is doing somersaults, but it feels so right. I smile and meet his heat-filled gaze, which widens when I drop to my knees.
I keep my eyes forward as I slowly make my way across the runway at a sensual crawl. I can hear murmurs and gasps, but with every movement, I feel empowered with the knowledge that this is right.
I kneel up when I reach Jason, and his expression makes my heart ache. His eyes are wide but glassy, too. He softly skims my cheek with his knuckles, and I can’t fight my own smile, which makes my cheeks hurts.
“Up,” he commands, and I bounce to my feet. In my heels, I am almost nose to nose. “You look very beautiful in my collar, Sam.” His tone is deep and heavy with heartfelt emotion that is just as tangible as the collar around my neck. His lips cover mine before I can utter a sound. My heart soars with the passion and love I feel for this man. I have never felt so free as I do belonging to him. He breaks the kiss but not his hold. “Mine,” he whispers.
“Yours.” I smile but bite the idiot grin that is just itching to embarrass me.
“You do know what this means.” He takes my hand in his, and I gaze into the intensity with which he seals my soul to his.
“I do.” His deft fingers slip something on my finger, and I gasp when it catches the light. “Jason?”
“You are wearing my collar, and you already said I do, beautiful. Now where’s a damn priest when you need one?” He pulls me into his arms because I am too stunned to respond.
“He’s in playroom three, but I can get him if you want.” Leon winks at me, and I burst of in a nervous fit of giggles.
“No Leon, we’re not getting married in a sex club, Sam deserves more. Sam deserves the dream wedding. Sam deserves the world, and I intend to give it to her.”
Leon probably had a smart remark but I didn’t hear it. All I hear is Jason promising me the world when it’s too late for that.
He gave me the world when he gave me his heart.
The End
I completely understand why authors start this section with an apology for missing anyone. My list of thank you’s has grown considerably since I first pressed the publish button and I am rightly worried I will forget someone. I’ll start with a blanket THANK YOU EVERYONE…yeah because that should cover my arse…not.
So I am going to start with some key players: A huge thank you Shannon Boltin and Kris Ward who tirelessly promote and pimp me to all and sundry and I know Facebook doesn’t make it easy.I am and will be forever in your debt because I literally would not be visible in the ocean of Indie authors if it wasn’t for you ladies.
Joan Readsalot, pretty much there for me from day one. I am so grateful for your honesty and constant unwavering support. My other Beta readers, Melinda, Amy Adkins, and Heather Callahan…thank you so much for your invaluable input into making Disgrace all I’d hoped and more. My street team, especially, Susan, Kim , Gaynor,Chillie, Jenny and Melissa(s), Jenny, Lisa, Maxine, Charlotte, Vickie Charmaine and Lynne..But really all my street team…I love you ladies…you totally rock!
My Chosen One’s and Disgraceful Diva’s…That would be most of you listed above too but there are many many more and I am so grateful to have you in my life…making me smile daily. I love these groups and for a moment I thought I would lose them…and I was not a happy bunny…but with some tweaking we pulled through…Libby and Cleopatra et al ;)
Barbara Shane Hoover…words fail me…I am so grateful for your grammar ocd…I can’t even…Saya at Redquille, Jane Kennedy…my extra extra pair of eyes. Stacey at Champagne formats and Judi for my glorious and totally on the edge of being reportable, cover…You ladies are the foundation. I would also like to thank my bestie..Kymme because in all honestly there would be no books if it wasn’t for her, for all the swag making for the signings…..and definitely above and beyond with that trip to the dungeon…and not drinking the water…you know just incase ;) I love you to the moon and back.
My family…again are quietly supportive…which is probably why I spend so much time on Facebook. Not just because of my books but there is a whole community of filthy minded lovelies happy to share this wonderful book world…you make each day a treat. I often get these utter bursts of happiness, either writing or reading and you guys are the ONLY ones that understand <3 Sorry back to my family…my husband and children (all grown up) I would like to thank you for not moaning (much)…it is your way of showing your support I know and I appreciate it…One day i’ll write a story you can read…but not this dayand definitely not this story!
