I step out of my sneakers and leave them in the corner closest to the door. Shrugging out of my jacket, I leave it on the floor next to the sneakers. Lastly, I tug the dress up over my head and drop it on top.

Everything’s ready.

My heart pounds a little harder as I move back to the door.

I grasp the handle tightly, feeling the warmth of the sun on my back and letting a smile burn my lips.

He’s going to love it. I know before I open the door and beckon him inside.

His dark eyes widen as his gaze falls on my body.

He moves forward swiftly and smacks the door closed with a bang, coming in close and kissing me hungrily. I doubt he’s even noticed the real surprise. If there’s one thing I’ve noticed about Dante’s attention, it’s how quickly it zeroes in on me whenever I’m naked, or close to naked.

There could literally be a parade going on around us, and all he’d see is me.

I break the kiss and wait for him to look me in the eyes. “Dante.”

“Mm hm?” he murmurs, his gaze drifting to my lips.

“I thought it might be nice to relive the moment we met.”

He raises an eyebrow, and blinks as his gaze starts to take in our surroundings.

He steps back and takes in the illusion. “Oh … This is …”

“I used what you taught me,” I admit. “Maybe it’s not perfect, but …”

“It’s perfect,” he tells me. “But shouldn’t it be night?”

“Only if you want to go for arealmidnight run. I was more thinking about what might have happened the morning after, when we woke up together.”

His lips stretch into a smile. “I definitely don’t want to go for a real midnight run.”

Chapter eight

Dante

EverytimeIthinkthings couldn’t possibly be more perfect, Amanda finds a way to do something to surprise me. This is a sweet, sexy gift that I never would have expected, and it only makes me love her more. She moves back as I undress, moving to sit and then lie down on the ground, her long, silky caramel hair fanning out over the grass behind her.

She’s even more beautiful than the day we met.

She was shyer and more reserved then, and with good reason.

New in town, she’d already met Sean and Parker and felt a connection with them. Discovering her connection with me, she thought she was attracted to all three of us because she was in heat.

She had no idea we were her mates, and she’d never even had an orgasm before she met us.

Now, she’s been ours for months, and she gets sexier every day.

Some things might still make her blush, but I wouldn’t call her shy now, or quiet.

“If we want this to be like that morning, I should be naked.”

“You should definitely be naked,” she tells me.

I tug off my shirt, tossing it on the ground. I close my eyes and take a second to appreciate the effort she went through to make the sun warming and have a cool breeze moving through the trees to keep the temperature pleasant. When I open them again, the illusion feels more complete.

Like I just teleported us out here in the morning, to have a little fun before class.
