“I’ll drive,” I say, and he hesitates, like he’s not used to giving up power, especially to a beta. “She needs you,” I urge him and push him to the back door. I need her too, but I can wait. Ace won’t make it far with her in full heat. He’ll be distracted, and I don’t want to take any chances with her safety.

I look at the GPS and see we have a few hours ahead of us. I slam the door and throw my bag behind me. Dash smiles at me from the passenger seat, and I shake my head with a huge grin.

“This been going on for a while?” I ask.

Ace sits like a statue beside Jax as he eats Harley out. Her small gasps and moans have me growing hard. Ace is a lot stronger than any other alphas I’ve ever met.

“Yeah, but we better get going. That beta worked out how Harley did it, and the Omega House and cops are out to arrest us.”

My mouth drops open as I peel out of the driveway, following the GPS. “Fuck, will they catch us with these plates?”

He shakes his head, and Harley calls out. “Knot me, please. Claim me.”

I glance in the rearview mirror and can't take my eyes from her as she crumbles around Jax’s mouth.

“Eyes on the road, beta,” Ace grumbles from behind me, and I look away.

I don’t like being called beta, but I won't bring it up with Ace...yet. I’m just grateful that he’s letting me be a part of his family, so I can have my girl too.

Just as we're out of the city, I hear a sweet voice.

“Gage,” she whispers, as if she can’t believe I’m really here. My heart races. Harley’s just as excited to see me as I am to see her.

I turn my head to look at her as Jax holds her on his lap, and her mouth drops open at the sight of me. “Trouble. What brings you out here tonight?”

She reaches her hand out to me, and I take it in mine. It’s so small and clammy. For her to be lucid like this, she must be temporarily sated.

“Not thinking about climbing walls. All the people I want are in here.”

And just like that, everything’s right in the world again.

CHAPTER 27

HARLEY

It hurts so much...and my nest.

I don’t have a nest in the back of this car. I hate this. I itch and feel strange under my skin. This isn’t like my last heat. That was painful, and I begged for it to end. No, this heat came up so fast, but this is all to do with them. My scent matches. I’m begging for them to claim me, and being denied is breaking me.

Not able to get fully comfortable, this itch under my skin burns me up like a shooting star. If they claim me, this will all go away, and then we can all just enjoy the heat. This time, it demands I be claimed. My head rocks on Knight’s lap as the car comes to a stop. The guys have been giving me whatever they can until we’re there, but I sense something is up.

Veronica didn’t turn up today. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or why we left so suddenly. The guys went from giving me a new omega mattress, which was horrible. It wasn’t what I needed. Veronica was wrong about that one. I hated it, and I felt bad, since I knew it was expensive. It was too soft.

Then, only ten minutes later, Ace told me to pack my bags because we were leaving. That’s when my heat hit. It scared me. They needed us to all leave in a rush, and there I was, going into heat as they bundled me up into the car.

Then I smelled him. Vanilla. Mixed in with all their scents. And I could finally relax.

No matter where I am now, I’m home.

Here with all my mates. Knight, my pale-eyed alpha from the diner four years ago, who changed it all for me. Ace, the alpha who risked it all to jump over the fence and steal me away to save his pack mate.

Jax, with his tender touches and dirty talk. He is a bit of a mother hen, and I love him for that. And his Dash...mine now. Sharing him and that wicked mouth of his—I love it. I never knew sex could feel like that.

Zayd and his cuddles...and knot. I now understand what the guys were saying—Zayd is just being Zayd. He has a language all of his own, and I understand it now.

And now Gage. My heart, my first love, first kiss. I always thought Knight was my first, but I didn’t fall in love him. Not until I was in his arms.

“Trouble, we’re here.” Gage reaches out and cups my cheek.
