Page 23 of Sasha’s Bounties

Iwake slowly. Stretching languidly, with my arms over my head and my legs curled up under me. Mama used to tell me I looked like one of the barn cats when I stretched.

Thinking of Mama has my eyes snapping open to the sight of the now familiar, yet still alien room. Instead of the comfortable bedroom I’ve had since I was born. A room I’m sure I’ll never see again.

Chin up, Sasha. Things aren’t all bad.

Heck no! I’ve just spent the last day being pleasured in unimaginable ways bytwogorgeous aliens. That’s not what I’d call a downside.

I’m just finishing my stretch when the door slides open and, speak of the devils, both males come breezing in. Vruk is carrying a tray piled with food, while Brettin is carrying a decanter and glasses.

“We thought you might be hungry,” Vruk says, setting the tray on the small bedside table, before sitting down on the edge of the bed beside me

My stomach takes that moment to complain, loudly, that it is starving.

“I told you I could hear her stomach from the cockpit,” Brettin chuckles, sitting on my other side.

“Oh, God,” I groan, then try sinking beneath the bedcovers.

“Ah-ah,” Vruk tuts. Then he pulls the cover away, exposing my nakedness.

Both males growl, enjoying the view, and I quickly snatch the blanket back. “No more sex until I eat something.”

Well, add that to the list of things I never thought I’d ever say.

Holding the blanket to my chest, I scoot up until my back is braced up against the headboard. Vruk puts the tray across my lap and Brettin fills a glass of cold clear water for me.

The whole time, all I can think is,wow.I can’t remember there ever being a time when I was ever so spoiled. Being a farm kid, and the youngest of five, everything was a hard won battle. There wasn’t much time for coddling. If you were sick, you stayed in bed. Otherwise, there was always chores to do.

I can’t think of a single time in my life when anyone thought to bring me breakfast in bed.

“This is way too much food for just me,” I say, even as I start digging into the wonderfully smelling meal before me. “I hope you both plan on sharing this with me.”

“Eat your fill, first.” Brettin grumbles, refilling my glass when I drain it in a single breath.

To my utter amazement, I make it through about half of the food, before leaning back and patting my rounded food-baby belly. “Thank you, that was delicious.”

“Anything for our mate,” Vruk says, as he carefully splits the rest of the meal between him and Brettin.

Suddenly the water I just drank tries choking me and I begin to cough.

“Your… uh…” Did he just call me their mate?

“Youareour mate, Sasha,” Brettin tells me.

Vruk gives me a helpful thump on the back to clear my lungs, “We realized it shortly after we rescued you.”

“Do you mean mate… likewife?”

“Mate, like a life partner.” Brettin says.

Ok, so at least we’re all on the same page. And just how do I feel about that, anyway?

Surprisingly… I find I don’t hate it. I mean, haven’t I already pointed out numerous times things could be a heck of a lot worse? But… theirmate? When I’ve only known them for a handful of days? I mean, the sex is amazing, but… I may be their shiny new toy right now, but what will happen when the newness eventually wears off. Sex isn’t enough to keep a relationship going if that’s all there is. Eventually they are bound to grow bored with me.

“Um, so what does being your mate entail, exactly?” I ask.

Setting the empty tray aside, Brettin slowly crawls across the bed and leans against the headboard beside me, tucking me into his side. “It means we pleasure you. And spoil you.”
