My mouth parted with a scream as he roared into my ear and golden light decorated the bedroom. I felt him emptying inside me, my nails dug into his thick skin when he shuddered.
When it was over, I had to close my eyes trying to regain my footing. Vicious fucked me with shallow thrusts, milking his climax and humming under his breath.
“My knot will never wane like this.”
I wiped my damp forehead. “What do you mean by wane?”
“We are locked together,” he answered while he looked down at our connection. “Until my knot wanes and I can remove my cock.”
I slapped his arm. “So stop moving.”
He shook his head. “I want you exactly like this, witch. Under me, taking my knot and trembling with a climax. I’m going to make you come the whole night.”
Right on queue, he thrust deep again, and I moaned in pleasure. I circled my legs around his thick waist and held him there.
“I’ll die if you keep going.”
He chuckled darkly. “Good. Then you’ll belong to me forever.”
I licked my lips watching him. “Don’t I already? I’m your wife, right?”
His eyes flickered to mine, his hand coming to my neck while he held me still. “You’re my wife,” he said almost in wonder, something different in the quality of his voice.
I nodded, yeah, I was pretty sure we couldn’t deny it after what we had just done in front of everyone.
“Mine.” He started to fuck me again like we hadn’t just come. The wet sounds of sex filled the room and I felt our cum dripping out of me and seeping into the bed and he didn’t seem to notice or care.
His inhumane eyes were on me, possessiveness written all over his face. “Mine, little witch. Mine.”
And I could only nod.
“I’m keeping the witch.”
Lagus, who had been scribbling my orders for the last twenty minutes without looking up from the paper, stopped.
“I thought you were always keeping the witch.”
“Yes.” I waved away. “But now I’m keeping her in a different way.”
Lagus cleared his throat. “So you won’t be torturing her anymore.”
Not that I really tortured her to begin with. Lagus knew well.
“I want two guards stationed outside my room,” I told him. “They won’t be there to spy. Just to keep her safe.”
“Talking about keeping her safe.” Lagus put the paper behind his back. “Her father has been seen with Cassandra.”
Witches always stuck together, that wasn’t news but I wasn’t comfortable with that particular combination. Cassandra was ambitious, jealous of the power her family never had and the same could be said about Adrian. Knowing they were lurking outside my gates? I didn’t like that.
“I need a close eye on them. Send them over the river.”
Lagus cleaned his throat. “The witches don’t like anyone in their territory.”
I waved it off. The underworld was complicated. Full of rules made by ancient beings, but I didn’t need permission. I wanted them as far away from Pilar. It was my own fault Adrian knew she was here in the first place. At the time it seemed like a good idea, but now my chest tightened whenever I thought about that decision.
“How’s the Brumas situation?” I lowered my voice.
“They aren’t in the underworld, my lord.”
