Page 117 of Knot Their Reality

Later that night, Quinn got us backstage passes for a popular band of alphas, Knotty Boys. Yes, it’s a dumb name, but they make damn good music. It turns out that all of us love them. The concert was amazing, and we even got to meet the band afterward. I thought for sure that Sophia and Chase were going to pass out with how excited they were. Luckily, they did not, but when the lead singer signed Sophia's tits, I thought Brooks was going to lose his shit. Overall, it was a good night.

On Tuesday, we joined Gage and then Ulf. Gage managed to find a local hockey team and snag tickets to one of the games. I've never watched much hockey, but I have to admit it was pretty amazing. I was slightly surprised to hear Sophia roaring with the rest of the crowd anytime something violent happened—which was pretty frequent. Foster and Gage were right there alongside her while me, Chase, and Brooks looked on with amusement.

UIf took us to an old drive-in to watch Top Alpha, which is a classic in my opinion. Sophia had never seen it, which is only slightly surprising, but she seemed to enjoy it. But what I think she enjoyed the most was the cuddling in the back of the SUVs. We brought two so there was enough room for all of us and the two omegas kept jumping from one vehicle to the other, sometimes together and other times separate. Yet another great date idea.

For our third day of dates, we joined Jackson and then Asher.

Jackson definitely won for the most original idea as he took us to an aerial trapeze class. I think he missed the mark a bit since it was meant to be a date for the pack, but Sophia and Chase enjoyed the hell out of it. Okay, all of us ended up enjoying it, but it was definitely outside of our comfort zone. It was just a reminder that I need to try new things more often.

That night, Asher took us to go roller skating of all things. I was once again surprised by how much fun it was. I think I was in high school the last time I visited a skating rink, but it just goes to show that it doesn't matter how old you are—some things are always fun. Plus, it was awesome watching everyone get the hang of the skates—myself included.

Thursday, we went on dates with Carson and then Liam. Carson took us to see a psychic where we had our fortunes told and tarot cards read. I'm fairly certain she isn't a real psychic, but some of the vague stuff she mentioned hit a little too close to home. So I'm not ruling it out that she's the real deal. Chase, Foster, and Sophia loved it so I guess that was a point in his favor.

Liam, on the other hand, chose to take us to a comedy club. The comedian's name was Claudia Soreno, and she's an alpha. She was hilarious and definitely called out our group for having two omegas. There were dick jokes made about there being two bettas and two alphas as well. Sophia flushed but just heckled the woman back. It was amazing and one of the best things I've seen in a while. We all walked out laughing, having enjoyed the show.

On Friday, we only had one date, which was with Jace. I shouldn't have been as shocked as I was to discover he'd booked us in for a sex class based around polyamory and those that share partners. I'm not going to lie, I learned a lot. There's a ton of positions they went over that work for me since I'm only involved with Sophia, but also allows the others to join us.

Hands down, I think Jace's date was the best one.

Friday night, we’d been sent to take ballroom classes in preparation for tonight’s gala. That was also an interesting experience. Bree and Tessa tagged along so there was more than one female, but we still greatly outnumbered them. All three women had obviously taken classes previously as they blew all of us out of the water.

And Chase, being an overachiever, learned the parts for both the male and female partners so there was someone else we could practice with. He swore up and down it was his first time, but it was hard to believe with the ease he learned them.

Now, we're all getting ready, donning the new suits that had been provided to us—I’m not sure why we’re doing suits instead of tuxedos, but who am I to argue? Sophia has been in her suite for hours so she can be beautiful. Her words, not mine. My omega is always beautiful, but I know better than to argue with her.

The gala is set to begin within the hour, but we're all to wait until it begins so we can make a grand entrance. I'm actually pretty excited about it, as Bree had informed us this morning that it's a casino night combined with the usual gala bits. Betting money to raise money for the animals? That's definitely something I can get behind.

I can also get behind this suit. It's a deep charcoal gray, and it fits as if it was tailored for me. A deep burgundy shirt, a black pocket square, and a black tie finish the look. Brooks's suit is the same as mine, but I wonder if that means Sophia’s pack will match, or if all suitors will match.

The two of us and Foster have pretty much moved into Sophia's suite now that we're bonded. Chase still splits time between his pack's and Sophia's suites. Since Sophia is getting ready in her suite, we were sent back to our old rooms to get ready. Not that any of us mind.

I feel bad for Chase. I can tell that splitting his time is weighing heavily on him, but until Sophia can accept Pack Lewitt back into her life, I don't know what else he can do. Or what any of us can do to make it easier on him.

"You ready?"

Glancing up, I find Brooks standing next to the door. I nod, following him out of the room and head for the living room on our floor. It's where the suitors agreed to meet once we're ready. Stepping inside, I find that we're the last ones to arrive. I also realize that we don't all match exactly.

Both Foster and Chase wear the same colors we do, while the others wear the same suit, but with a black shirt and burgundy tie and pocket square. They've separated those who are a part of her pack from those still vying for their spot. Interesting.

I don't even get a chance to speak to anyone before Hector appears. "Suitors, It's time for you to gather downstairs. Sophia has been moved up here to the free pack suite so she can make a grand entrance."

I snort. That definitely wasn't her idea, but I keep my thoughts to myself as the thirteen of us file down the stairs. We're left in the huge entryway as we wait for our omega to arrive. We're all milling about, talking amongst ourselves when quiet begins to settle over us.

Turning my head, I find an angel gliding down the stairs toward us. I've seen Sophia dressed down with no makeup, dressed to the nines for the rose ceremonies, and all dolled up for dates, but this? She looks ethereal, and she’s enraptured us all.

I don't know much about women's clothing, but her dress is the same color as her pack's shirts. Its sleeves go to her wrists, and while there is some lace on them, it's mostly sheer so her skin is visible. It cuts low, showcasing her décolletage—a fancy word I learned and never thought I'd use—but hugs her body to her knees before flaring out, a small train trailing behind her.

But what is so breathtaking about the dress is that like the sleeves, parts of the dress are sheer with lace connecting the material together. Each side of the dress is sheer, revealing her skin from just below her tits, all the way to her ankles. All the necessary bits are covered, but so much of her skin is showing that my brain short circuits.

My cock leaps when I realize there's no way she's wearing panties with it. Well, that could be a problem with all these strangers in the mansion for the gala. They'll be able to smell her arousal like I can right now as her eyes scan over each of us in turn. At least Brooks has claimed her, making her scent different and clear that she is someone's omega.

I was glad when she finally chose Brooks, but I'm even more glad now. Claimed omegas don't smell as tempting to other alphas. Though it won't stop them from hitting on her, and it makes zero difference to betas, it makes me feel just a little better. Because she's going to turn heads as soon as she steps foot in the ballroom.

"Sophia." Chase's awe is clear in his voice as he meets her at the bottom of the stairs. "I don't know how you become even more beautiful with every day, but this dress? How can something be so classy and so hot at the same time?"

Sophia throws her head back, her carefully curled hair spilling down her back as Chase takes her hand and brings it to his lips. "Always the smooth talker."

Tessa and Bree appear out of nowhere, moving to stand beside my omega.
