Page 90 of Knot Their Reality

There's a momentary pause. "I'll do that while you're on the way back. I have two carts headed your way."

"Thank you." I drop the walkie-talkie, facing Chase as he finishes drying me off. I grab another towel and get to work drying him off. I can hear the raised voices of Dylan and Brooks, but I refuse to turn toward them. I don't want to know what's going on over there.

"Are you okay, Chase?" I ask, internally berating myself. Why hadn't I asked this sooner?

He nods. "I'm fine. I wasn't concerned for a moment. Not with you and Brooks there."

I snort. "You mean with Brooks there."

"No." He shakes his head, water flying from his waves. "Both of you. It's not Brooks who got up in his face to defend my honor. That was hot as hell, baby."

His voice has gone husky, and when I meet his eyes, I see the truth of his words reflecting back. When he pulls me against him, his cock is hard between us. I'm sure we're both scenting the air right now, but I don't care. If there weren't carts already on their way for us, I'd drop to my knees and suck his dick.

Hell, I'm still considering it even knowing that they're on their way. Instead, I yank him down for a dirty kiss that has us moaning together. Chase's hands clamp down on my hips, digging in and trying to pull me closer, but we're pressed as close together as we can.

A throat clearing has us pulling apart and glancing up at Brooks, whose hand is squeezing his hard dick through his board shorts. "I hate to interrupt because the two of you together is probably the hottest thing I've ever seen, but the cart is pulling up now."

Turning my head, I see the first one come to a stop just a few feet shy of where we're standing. Hector jumps out and hurries over to us. "I came as quickly as I could. Are you alright, omegas? Alpha?"

"We're just fine," Brooks offers with a shrug. "The asshole in the hot springs? Not so much."

Hector glances around us to take in Dylan before shaking his head. "He'll be fine. They'll help him when the second cart gets here. They'll also clean up. Let's get you into the cart and head back to the mansion. Tessa says I'm to bring the three of you straight to her."

Brooks nods, throwing his arms over mine and Chase's shoulders and leading us to the cart. He helps me into the middle seat before sliding in behind me. "All the way over, omega."

I follow his instructions as he helps Chase onto the cart. He sits in the middle and pulls Chase to sit on his other side. His arms are already wrapped around us once more when Hector takes off. The other cart passes us a moment later, but I could care less. I cuddle into Brooks, reaching across to take Chase's hand.

None of us speak as we fly back to the mansion. Even when we come to a stop, and Hector leads us inside to the dining room, we remain silent but connected to one another. Hector ushers us inside before closing the door behind us. Both Tessa and Bree are waiting for us, and they look pissed.

But are they angry with us or with Dylan? I guess there's only one way to find out. I step toward the table, and the two men follow my lead. We all drop down across from Bree and Tessa.

"First, omegas, are the two of you okay?" Tessa asks, eyes running over the both of us.

"We're fine—just pissed," I answer for the both of us and Tessa nods.

"Of course you are." Bree's eyes meet mine. "So are we. The behavior that was displayed was unacceptable, and I'm sorry that any of you had to deal with it."

Tessa sighs. "Brooks, the contract that you signed has a clause about violence—"

"What? No!" I gasp, already jumping to my feet. "You can't punish him for what he did. He was protecting us."

"And I don't plan to, Sophia. Please, have a seat and let me finish." Tessa lifts a perfectly arched eyebrow, waiting until I'm seated before continuing. "With that being said, your response was warranted. Now, if this becomes an ongoing thing where you're beating the shit out of other suitors regularly—"

"It won't," he says, cutting her off. "I knew there was a chance I could be sent home when I raised my fist, but it would've been worth it. I'd spoken to him multiple times today, and he didn't seem to be getting it. I'm hoping that my fist was a little more persuasive."

Bree snorts. "Sophia, do you want to send him home now? We can, or if you'd rather wait until the rose ceremony, we can do that too."

I shake my head. "I'm too angry to make that decision right now. For now, let's just say he can stay. Tomorrow, we'll talk again."

"Okay. That sounds good. Do you want us to postpone your dinner date with Ulf tonight?"

"No, absolutely not. Ulf won't be punished for another suitor's mistakes." I shake my head when Brooks opens his mouth. "No. I'm fine, and I want to go to dinner with him. Chase, I'll understand if you want to stay home with your pack."

Chase looks torn. "I don't want to leave you hanging..."

"You're not. And I wasn't the one Dylan was pulling around. Go see your pack. Tell them what happened. Make sure Liam and Asher don't come after Dylan though. We don't want them getting sent home." I force myself to smile. "Brooks can help you find them if you'd like."

"I'd like to stay with you, pretty girl." Brooks glances between the two of us, and I know he doesn't want to let either of us go.
