Chase smiles, though it's still a touch sad. "I think we all hold a bit of blame in that situation, but that's in the past. I don't want to dwell on it. I want to start fresh and give everything I can to this second chance you've given us."

"You're right. We should probably go meet the others."

Chase shakes his head. "In a minute. There's something I want to do first."

"What—"

But I'm cut off by his lips meeting mine. He takes full advantage of the fact that I'd been speaking, his tongue darting between my parted lips. I moan, moving my tongue against his as I melt into him. Yes, this is what I want. He's what I want.

When Chase tilts my head to get a better angle and deepens the kiss, I lose track of every thought that has been running through my mind. All I can think about is Chase and how right this feels.

"Now that's a sight I could get used to seeing."

Chase and I break apart, both of us breathing hard as we turn to find Carson leaning against the hallway wall.

"Oh, you don't have to stop on my behalf. I was enjoying the show." He takes a deep breath, eyes fluttering shut. "And damn do the two of you smell amazing together. Just like a sunny day at the beach."

I flush, ducking my head and burying it in Chase's chest as heat rises along my skin—from both how aroused I am and by the embarrassment.

"Don't be an asshole, Carson." Chase's hand cups my face once more as he lifts it, forcing me to look at him—not that it's a hardship. "I'm sorry. I just had to kiss you. It's all I've been able to think about since I saw you again, and I'm sorry Carson ruined it."

"It's fine, but we should probably get going," I tell him. He doesn't immediately release me, and I wonder if he's going to kiss me again, but he doesn't. He loops his arm around my back and leads me past Carson.

But Carson isn't having any of that as he grabs my hand, intertwining our fingers as he walks on my other side. I close my eyes and take a deep breath, trying to ignore the arousal that's running rampant through my body. I need to get it together.

It doesn't take us long to reach the SUV, only to find Liam and Asher waiting outside for us. Both of their eyes zero in on where both Chase and Carson are touching me. I lick my lips at the desire in their eyes.

Yikes. It looks like they want to eat me alive, and I'm not opposed to the idea. Maybe I should take them back to my suite and say fuck the date.

No, Sophia. You have to get to know them again.

"Good morning, omega." Asher steps up to stand before us, reaching for my free hand, and lifts it to his lips. "You look beautiful as always. I'm sorry for sending in Carson, but we're very excited for the date, and I might have gotten a little impatient."

For a moment, I just blink up at him. I can't even process his words as I lose myself in his eyes. Holy shit, I have it so bad for this pack.

"Sophia?" There's a hint of a smile on Asher's lips as he tilts his head to the side.

I shake my head and laugh as I try to clear my thoughts. "It's okay. It would seem a bit lost in my head today. Shall we get going?"

Asher nods, pulling me from Chase's and Carson's holds. "Yes, we shall. Do you have a preference for who sits beside you?"

"No." I shake my head again, feeling like my head is in the clouds. This date is going to be interesting for sure.

Chase darts ahead and jumps into the back of the SUV before Asher even has a chance to help me in. He just shakes his head, rolling his eyes before he lifts me inside.

Chase just grins at me as I drop beside him. Carson is the next one in, and he sits on my other side, leaving the middle seats for Liam and Asher. As soon as we're all inside, the driver pulls away and heads for our first destination.

When we pull up outside of Sip ‘n Slide, the five of us pile out of the car as the others look at me with confused faces. I just laugh. "Don't worry, we're not day drinking. They offer classes here without alcohol too."

"I'm not against day drinking," Carson says as he throws an arm over my shoulder. "But it doesn't seem like the kind of first date you'd plan."

"You're right. Which is why we're not day drinking." I roll my eyes and attempt to step out of his hold, but he refuses to let me go.

"Carson," Asher warns, but I just wave my hand at him.

"It's fine. It's just Carson being Carson." I shoot him a smile, but he doesn't look convinced. "It's really fine. It just means I have a built-in heater, right?"

Carson laughs, his whole body shaking as he leads us inside. "You know if you want me to let you go, I will. I don't want you to be uncomfortable, but it's hard to believe that you're here with us right now. I figure if I keep in contact, then maybe I'll finally believe I'm not just dreaming."
